Parallel universes--mind blowing thought?

I was doing my morning meditation when a thought of a lady trying to sell me hangers popped into my brain. When you meditate you gently set the thought aside and continue. When I was done meditating I couldn't help but think where I met that lady--at the office? at a friend's? I couldn't remember. It was so clear that I can see her outfit, her face, the surroundings--everything! I thought my mind was on the fritz, LOL! It must have been a dream, but it got me to thinking: could parallel universes be real? There have been several people who have written of parallel universes. Have you ever gone through something similar? What do YOU think?

Thanks, stvasile, I will definitely look for the movie. This topic fascinates me. Someone else told me to get the book "The Dancing Wu Li Masters." Have you read it? I will check it out at my local Chapters or Indigo bookstore sometime this week.

the many worlds interpretation of quantum theory refers to the mystical concept of parallel universes. it is indeed fascinating to think that there could be other universes existing simultaneously without us even knowing about it. u could also consider reading a book called Hyperspace by Michio Kaku.It's really very interesting.
