There is this Nickelback song "Rock Star" which I love listening to. I like the lyrics. It's a cool song ... and the music video's ok too.
Made me think, well, if I ever had the chops to be one, would I?
And I thought, "Hell YEAH!" Why not! Rock stars are like demi-gods ... and they rule!
So how about you guys, ever wanted to be a rock star .... or do you prefer to be some other kind of celebrity?

Being a rockstar is one of my dreams! I'm a big fan of Incubus and it would be fun to be Brandon Boyd for the day. I want to know what it feels like to perform in front of a live audience who are shouting your name and singing your songs. I want to party like a rockstar.

yeah this song rocks, i think by far one of their better songs, cool beat, cool lyrics, not sure i would want to be a rockstar though, sounds cool but probably lots of work

Well almost anything in this world requires work, like being cool requires at least minimal effort, but there is still some kind of effort going on - hehehe. Just rambling my thoughts out loud.

Yes I would want to be a rock star, but more of a glamor rock type! I mostly listen to rock music and I love leather clothes *laughs*. Indeed, I love Nickelback's rock star song, it's really fun and sarcastic in some way.

Yeah, the song's sarcastic isn't it? But then these are words from Rock Stars themselves. :-) I know their enjoying their status, even if they won't admit it. Hehehe.

Yea. I mean give me half a chance lol Let's see first of all you have tons and tons of money...second you have a ton of women throwing themselves at you all of the time....you get in places for free where other people dont...People look up to you...so yea id defiently be a rockstar

Yup, I also like the "tons of money" part and getting into places for free. Those are nice perks, eh?
But the real thrill would be like on stage, and you have the crowd under your spell. Unbelievable!

How I wish I was a Rockstar!!! Everyday I wake up to listen to this song at least once .. all the time imagining myself to be on a large stage with the crowd shouting my name wildly.. calling out for me.. the heavy strumming of the guitars, the drums and the lights, the money, the luxuries..
yes.. If I have a chance to be one.. Ill surely try to be a Rockstar... Cos a Rockstar is one person who doesn't care about anybody's opinions and lives life his own way.. Just the way he wants to.. the music and himself..
