You can make $10 a month with referrals and many friends responding to your discussions. That's what I could absorb from other people experiences. Mine own is $10 after 3 months (May, December 07, January 08), no referrals and no popular discussions. I am at about 780 postings so far. One thing that really helps is uploading pictures in every discussion and in your case in the interest page.
