Seems like people are not too friendly on MyLot.

you are one peron that saying my heart . i think it too.i join not long.order one side is to learn english ,and other is make some money also.i hope this discussions runs well.it's very well.hope to have more people to join and to discuss this problem.it's worth discuss.

when im new her i feel same like what you feel, but i already get what co-mylotters need so i just behave & just reply all my friend discussion & sometimes goes to others not only my friendlist. dont be bother to them my friend just do the right & give your day a cheers here in mylot. happy mylotting.

‘It seems like everyone is all about making money’ well the entire world is trying to do the same honey…nobody’s is anywhere for charity and that’s for sure. Inspite of this, mylot is a much much better social networking site for the following reasons: I have come across very few absolutely worthless discussions here. Each and every discussion I have come across, has some merit in it. You may or may not want to respond, but there are people who have something to say on it, however less. I have come across very few abusive posts here. We may argue, we may tear each other apart, but everything is done in a very civil manner. There is something for everybody…no one feels left out at mylot. Right from the teenager to the octogenarian, you have someone out there who can relate to you and lend you their ears and patience and advice. It is a wonderful site for connecting in English…the global language. I have come across many mylottans who cant communicate correctly in English but that has not prevented anyone from responding to them. The spirit is very humane, very family-like. It is absolutely private…no one intrudes on your privacy without you wanting it. It pays regularly, no matter how paltry (tho that depends on how well you write actually)

I agree with your other responses, while we all share a common goal, it is possible to make some friends along the way, people helping people...:)

I'm sorry but I think you are wrong. Or you just don't have the right friends on your friend list. I have been a member for just over three months and i love this site. I have some very good friends and we get along just fine. I have only come across a few rude people but I just avoid those ones now. The ones that are rude to me in my discussions I just mark them with a negative rating. But this doesn't happen very often as most people here are very nice. I think you may just have had a bad start here and need to just ignore it and move on. You will see I am right and that most members here are very friendly and very nice.

Oh I have to disagree..Granted I've never joined Yuwie and have no intention of it but I have a myspace and really its not the same thing at all...I also can't stand myspace since finding Facebook but again its not the same as here.. I've been here for over a yr and I have to say that I find the MAJORITY of ppl I've conversed with in that time are here for the discussions, debates and the money aspect is secondary...I've met ALOT of fabulous, kind ppl here who are very friendly....Sure there are some troublemakers and trolls etc but you'll find that in ANY forum or networking situation both online and off actually

Hi Browisn you havent been on mylot long enough to know that the people here are so friendly. Just be yourself and be friendly and in time you will find that the people are great. Enjoy!

I agree with you 100%. It makes me sick the people on here just to make some quick cash and don't take it seriously. I think it is a site to help people talk about what's on their mind and to get things off there chest.

Hi Browisn:) I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way. Just give it more time. I have met many great people and some great friends. I have been here about 11 months. I think you will agree with me the longer you are here. I think mylot has the best people.

Don't know the other sites, myLot is a forum community that you post discussions and get paid for replying, so most of people had one common interest when joining in, making extra money. Just don't full yourself that you ain't going to make friends, you will thru the discussions and PM's. Maybe we are more friendly than other sites as we really try to help each other in achieving a goal.

sorry to hear that. i've been here in mylot not that long... and i response to some discussions only if i feel like too. that's why i dont earn like you guys do. i dont know if i can really earn here, coz silly me, i dont even know how i can collect those earnings. :-) all i know is that everytime i response to some discussions i always speaks from the heart. Coz' i also seeking for some words coming from the heart hoping to find an answer for some questions that bothers me... and find some wisdom you guys can give... if there are some people that are rude... well, pity them they dont know what the word wisdom means. money to spend is easy to find, but still... it's easy to loose. while friendship that we could earn... well, we can't buy that.

I think that the fact that you can make money with mylot is one reason why some people respond quickly and share links to random stuff a lot, but I tend to avoid some of those posts, and I read the discussions. There are still plenty of great discussions and great people around here if you look hard enough. Again, this should be a place to discuss things we are interested in, not in just spamming for cash. I've found a lot more intellectual friendliness here compared to other social networking sites, however.

I dont actually compare myLot to other social network sites, but yea it does seem like some people around here are a little ruder than usual. Like you i've also been on here for just a little while, and at first it was just for the money, but now that I've seen all the stuff that goes on around this site I actually like coming on here and posting on discussions ^-^ at least more people around here are more mature than some of the people I've met on myspace :P

I'm sorry and surprised you've found myLot to be like that because that hasn't been my experience at all and I've been here over a year now. I've made many wonderful friends. You may not be reading the right discussions from the right interest groups. Yes, if you go to the "make extra money" interest you will find people trying to make money and promote their programs and sites, but that's what the interest is for. Try checking out some of the many other subjects, whatever you're interested in. Food, health, pets, watching TV - and whatever shows you like - politics, sports, music, people, life, family...there are so many where I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. It depends on what crowd you fall in with. Just like anywhere else. I go through periods of time when I write about money making, but I also go through periods of time when I talk about anything but. Depends. Right now my job was cut from 20 hours to 16, so the loss of $44 is on my mine and how to make it up. But I've also had discussions about food, Martial Arts and so on. I think we all go through periods of time when different things are more important than others. I haven't been on the other two.

I've made a few friends on here that i like and it all really depends on where you look, at first i was into the making money and used it to make money and find new places to make money but found out to make REAL money online is to much into it so i got tired of that but im still on here b/c i luv it i never really see any thing about making money but everynow and then. but i never look in that area of mylot either.

While I am sure this is true, it is important to make friends so that you have someone to talk to. However I learn a lot of things about my friends by answering or responding to thier many discussions. If you make friends with someone and you answer thier discussions, it gives them a chance to learn about you, while making money.

At Mylot I don't feel rejected, though there are differences of opinions. At My Space something happened to me: someone made a friend request, thanked me for accepting as a friend, for the add than he deleted me, not because he found my stuff offensive, BECAUSE HIS FRIENDS TOLD HIM TO.
