spending time with family

Last night, my boyfriend, my two boys, and me went to the drive in. We went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. That is such a great movie that the whole family can enjoy. My boys ages 4 and 6 couldn't take their eyes off the movie. It's hard to find a movie that they will watch all the way through. That was our second time seeing that movie. We will definitely be buying that movie when it comes out. Going to the movies is something our family enjoys doing. Does your family like going to the drive ins or what does your family like doing?

We only go to the drive-in. I hate regular theaters, they're just not comfortable and they're so expensive if you have a big family. The drive-in here charges $20 per car. We have a mini-van. So for 20 bucks my partner & I, my kids and a friend or two can see 2 movies compared to the $9 or more per person at the theater for 1 movie.

I didn't like the regular theaters either, but they got shut down in our town before my kids were even born. We just got a Drive-in about a 15-20 minutes drive from here like a year or so ago. We love it so far. It is only $10 a car load there.

The one we go to is almost an hour away. The drive home is awful, but it's still worth it. Maybe someday we'll see drive-ins make a real come back. It's a great way to see a movie.
