first cold

my baby girl not quite 4 months old, has her first cold. i know i can't give her medicine for it but does anyone know anything that will help her feel better faster? she has a runny nose and a nasty cough that sounds like it must hurt so much it makes ME want to cry thinking about it. its killing me every time she coughs or cries when i wipe her nose cause i know i can't make her magically all better

Well my son didnt get his first cold till we left the province and went to Newfoundland. He was 17 months old and by then I could give him medication for it. I'm not really sure what you could do for here except grin and bear it. Hope she feels better soon

just be careful, the next lil one might not be as easy going on things like your older one was. this one will probably have a cold early, probably be driving you nuts with teething months before his first tooth comes in unlike your first lil man. then when you're up all night with him screaming from the toothy pain you'll know what i've went through lol
