I enjoy plastic canvas and bead kits. I'm not working on no plastic canvas right now because I have to go adn buy some plastic. I'm trying to locate some coloured canvas because the project I want to do requires red and blue. Neither of which I have. I'm currently doing a bead kit that I have purchased off ebay. They are Christmas Ornaments but I guess I can never start to early since it takes me awhile to get things done. I can't knit, or crochet well enough to make anything LOL

mary maxim in paris is probably the only place close to us to get coloured plastic. i'd just call them first to see if they have any. if not they might be either able to order you some or know where you can go buy some. starting now on christmas stuff is good. it gives you the whole year to get even more stuff done.

I use to do plastic canvas a long time ago and would love to do some more. Counted Cross Stitch is on of my favorite things to do I've done tons of wedding samplers for friends and family. I also crochet and recently learned how to knit and asked my mom for needles in all sizes and various accessories for Christmas and she came through with a nice box of goodies for me! My current project is knitting a baby blanket for my baby that is due late this summer. Oh yeah and I love to do all kinds of kiddie crafts with my boys.

I love to craft all kinds of things. I have made candles, did cross stitch although i didn't like it as much as I did the plastic canvas, I own a ceramic shop so I love to paint and my home is filled with all kinds of things. Here lately, I have taken up sewing. My hubby bought me a embroidery machine for christmas and I just love it. I have had fun learning all I can do with it. It is a Janome 9000 sewing manchine. It takes different types of cards and it actually is pretty neat. I am making a memory quilt for my son who just graduated. He was very big in sports and I saved all his school and sports shirts and have cut the designs out and then I took some of his awards and had them transferred to fabric and made them all into blocks. I can't wait to get it finished.
I never got into knitting I do crochet though but it is usually in the winter and I make things for my family like lap throws or pot holders. I have only made two afhans in my life and it seemed forever doing them so i haven't done them anymore. I get the craft n things mag. and several others and enjoying looking at them for ideas to do and things to make year around.

ohhhhhhhh I want one of them machines but I haven't seen them around here before (canada) I know a friend of mine has one and she made my son a nice winnie the pooh blanket. Ceramics are so pretty, I am trying to find somewhere around here that does them because I'd love to get into them. My mom did them when I was younger and made some really nice things.

I love doing needlepoint, and crocheting, and ceramics painting. Right now, I'm in the middle of a blanket I've been crocheting for years (I keep dropping off with it for months or years at a time), and I'm also in the middle of three different counted cross-stitch projects. One is a wolf in the forest, one is two dolphins in the moonlight, and one is a pot of flowers with a Chinese symbol next to it. I'm also decorating my room by hanging up pictures and postcards, but I'm not sure that counts as a craft.

very cool. my aunt used to run a ceramic store where you bought the stuff and did all the painting and stuff there. it was her moms shop. i think it would take me about 20 yrs to crochet a blanket...i can't crochet worth a poop lol. i would loveeeeeeeeee to see the wolf one when you are done. i love wolves. i did a big one that took me about 5 months to finish. its about 20 inches long and i think 13 high. its all rolled up still haven't gotten a frame for it yet.
