Hellow mylotter,what do you know about then Chinese New Year?
The Chinese New Year also is called the Spring Festive,which is the most important holiday.For children,the Spring Festive means that it will have many good food to eat and new nice clothes to wear,besides the also can get hong baos from their relatives'.So children expect for it.For adult,the Spring Festive means together,no matter where you are,most of people go home.Everywhere is red,everyone is glad,and you shouldn't say anything unhappy.

hi desdbaby !
i don't know much about the celebration of the Chinese New year, except that it is such a big celebration for the chinese.
but i married a chinese guy and we are now living with my chinese in-laws. this is my first chinese new year to be with them in their home. and i am excited for the celebration, whatever they may be.

Are you Chinese,too?
I am a Chinese girl.
Besides all you have said,we still will burn some paper, which suppose to be money used in the other world,for the people that have gone to their rests.
And we say Happy New Year to everybody that we know.
This year's Spring Festive will be on Feb.7th and I am looking forward to it.
