what is the most important quality of one person?

Let nme share with a simple text message I got... "Sometimes we don't need a brilliant mind that speaks but a kind heart that listens" For me, being a compassionate listener will make our lives a lot better and more peaceful because we don't always need someone to be there to tell us what to do. I want people to be there, to listen attentive to what I need, to what the world needs, and then works on it according to how s/he thinks my needs will be provided.
