I hope everyone had a good weekend. Yesterday I did my laundry at my girlfriends house instead of my aunts house. It was alot easier because my girlfriend lives alot closer to me. So I put some laundry in and then we went to walmart. Then came back and finished up the laundry and then her mom invited us to dinner. I loved that because I didnt have to go home and cook.LOL I always love when I dont have to cook. So what did you do this weekend?

Well this weekend was kind of a sad one for me...wahhhhh....I took down my special Christmas tree on Sunday and now the place looks so barren. I think my two kitties are mad at me too. They loved sleeping under the tree and now they look at the spot where it was and it's like "Where is it?"

I have absolutely no idea what I did this weekend. It must not have been important if I can't remember it. I remember being depressed (normal of course since I'm bipolar), but I don't remember much else. I know I didn't go to church, but I do recall seeing my parents. I hate when I can't remember things.

You would think a weekend without football would be boring but it was the most busy I have had. This weekend The X Games,The National Figure Skating Championships, and The Hockey All Star Game all were on.So instead of having nothing to watch on t.v, I had three things airing all at once.Friday, the X Games started. They were the only thing on.But on Saturday, The All Star Game and the X Games and the Figure Skating were all on. So I saw the Hockey and the Figure Skating and DVRed the X Games. After both the hockey and Figure skating went off, I watched The X Games. Sunday, The X Games started first so I got to see them without anything else from 2 to 6. At 6, the All Star Game started and then at 7 the Figure Skating started. Then at 9 the X Games stared up again. The All star game went off at 9:30,the Figure Skating ended at 9.So by 9:30, I was finally seein only one thing.
You would think seeing three things at once that I missed all the best parts but luckily I saw everything. I saw some great skills from the Hockey stars, one of the best men's competitions in figure skating, and I saw Shawn White get gold in the Pike.I was a great but very busy weekend.

Busy but a lot of fun. It brought me back to the time I watched 5 hockey games at once.

I just stayed indoors and kept warm. We've had some very nasty winter weather. Bad blizzard last night and I'm snowed in. I so hate these winters.

Hey cool a great dinner that you haven't cooked! I'm afraid all I have done this weekend is look after 6 year old Niamh - she has had a rotten cold and cough for over 6 weeks now and is on her 2nd ear infection in over a month! Poor little scone , so you see I had a very quiet weekend! xxx

We had a fantastic weekend Terry!
It was a holiday here in Australia at the weekend for Australia Day, so as usual, we had a family BBQ at our place. (This is what most folks do here on Australia Day weekend).
It turned out to be a really good day with everyone enjoying themselves; our granddaughter is 8 months old and was the centre of attention of course! I've included a pic of her.

We are at the hotel for another day or two, so we went swimming and in the hot tub on Friday night. On Saturday we went to the Auto Show in Washington DC. It was kind of expensive with the food and stuff but we had a lot of fun! Sunday we did a lot of laying around, did a little shopping and went swimming and stuff again.
I am adding one of my favorite pictures from the car show.

I was planning on spending the two days of my weekend at home since I didn't come home last week (on weekdays I live at the city). But things came up, so I was busy on Saturday.
I was supposed to visit my cousin and her newborn baby who are both still on the hospital, but my sisters asked me to accompany them on various activities.
Saturday morning, with my youngest sister, I went with her classmates and helped them find a teacher to interview with their project. Then I picked up my other sister at home and went downtown. I dropped my youngest sister at her friend's house and together with my other sister strolled down the market. After probably 2 rounds we picked up our sister and strolled around the market again. They were really enjoying window shopping and once in a while bought small trinkets. Then before we went home we ate at a fastfood.
So okay, mostly it was my money spent for the whole day but I was happy with my sisters' company.:D

My weekend was very good. I was at theatre play on Saturday and on Sunday. And on both days I ate out, so it was very relaxing weekend for me. I would say first for over one year.

Hi, terryz!
We had a quiet weekend, stayed home for most of it and did some organizing, especially in the kids playroom. My husband's workshop is a mess so we tackled that too. Got rid of some stuff and made a pile for a future yard sale (I always "say" I'm going to have one, so hopefully I will this spring). Then on Saturday night we went to a fundraiser at my daughter's school. It was a dinner, so I didn't have to cook. Yay!
Sunday my kid's friends came over and my hubby did some work. I made a nice dinner of pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and green beans and we had chocolate cake for dessert. Doesn't get much better than that, right?

Trying to learn about what foods are good for diabetics - my husband has Type 2 diabetes (shock horror) so I cleaned out the cupboards and fridge and tossed everything that is supposedly not good for my hubby and did some grocery shopping. Spent most of our time looking at the labels and trying to decide is this ok or not! grr going to see a dietician Feb 4 so should get a fair idea what we are suppose to be looking for. Did that all Saturday as well as cleaning and doing our laundry too.
Sunday I relaxed and watched tv mostly with my son!

My weekend was good. Went to a movie with a good friend. We saw Cloverfeild. I didn't expect to enjoy it. But was surprised at how good it was. Spent some quality family time. Things were good. Saw my nephew, neice and sister in law as well. Nice weekend all around.

Most of the weekends, i will go to climb hills in the afternoon with my family and neighbours, while my neighbours will take her dog with us too. it's so nice go climb hills after working 5 days, we can enjoy the nature, talking too much about the everything we are interested, when we are back home, then have show, that's pretty good!
on Sunday morning i will go for learning chinese zither learning regularly. and sometimes in the afternoon i will go to movies.
