Have you ever seen an old couple walking togther,or dining together? They never fail to show eachother affection. They lean in to whisper their thoughts in one another's ear, they give sweet kisses on the cheek, they hold hands. He sheild her from harm, she openly accepts, knowing as long as she is in his arms, no harm can be done. They don't care who else is in the room, they owe the world nothing. They just simply enjoy their time spent togather and live in the moment. It's the most beautiful thing you could ever witness. It's timeless. It's an unquestionable love. It's how the world used to be.What happened?

id love to see myself growing old with the man i love.. i think there's nothing wrong showing your affection even you're already old.. what matters is that the love you've shared years before is still th same love you share at present.. love knows no time if it's really true and genuine.. i salute those couples who are still together after decades of sharing th beauty of love and relationship..

Indeed that is what many are dreaming having a relationship that last. I guess young couples do not have that time since most of them are working moms and dads that eat much of their waking hours than be with his/her family. Being in such a group I am hoping that there will come a time for us to be with my partner longer and have quality time spending time freely. Maybe when retirement times come it will.

I would like to see these people because I work at a restaurant and never seen old people behave this way. Usually they are pretty grumpy towards each other and my grandparents after 50 years bicker constantly. What you are talking about sounds very fairytalesque. I know they still love each other but they just bicker constantly. It is rare that I see them in the form you describe.

It's true love in a very rare form. People have become to materialistic and never take the time to sit back and look at what they have. They are always wanting moew oe something they can't have. The site of an old man and woman walking together holding hands just tears me up inside and out. Just like that movie ... I think it was Notebook or something similar to that. The older man sits there reading his wife the story of their life. She has alzehiemer's and doesn't remember one day to the next. It's such a sweet love story and I wished the world was still like this.

I love that movie. It tears me up too.I think I may just be missing the grandparents a little today, to have noticed this particular couple, but I saw this couple this morning and the love just radiated from them, it was adorable.I agree with you about what love has become.Thank you for your response. :) ♥

Yes I saw people like these. Its sweet to grow old in love. These people must be and are an example for all new couples, especially in todays world. Love is something special, something very important for humans. Because it is of such importance we should take big care of, protect it with all ways and means possible. Its not easy to grow old in love...but its not impossible either. :)
