I need some to improve my security on my computer...

Last weekend I made a mistake by downloading something (a spyware i think) and this made my computer act strange and than being ruined. Now I've reinstalled Windows and still gathering the loses I've taken. But first I really need an anti-spyware so i can use again the net and my comp without happening as last time. So can you give me a link where i can downloaded the best anti-spywares for free? Please help me make my computer immune to my mistakes.

Whichever programs you use, be sure to check for updates at least every week or so. The writers of viruses, trojans, spyware, malware, etc., are constantly trying to defeat the latest releases and updates.

Hi sunchild2000, Here's four good sites that provide free computer security software - 1. Adaware [ http://www.lavasoft.de ] 2. Spybot [ http://www.spybot.info ] 3. Avast! [ http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-virus-cleaner.html ] 4. Cr*p Cleaner [ http://www.ccleaner.com ] If you get each of these programs and install them on your PC, and then use them fairly regularly, you should find that you have much less problems with adware, spyware, viruses and other junk getting into your PC.
