I have been to Jamaica and it is a wonderful place.
Two things:
1. they drive CRAZY which leads to
2. they drive on wrong side of the road
If you go to Ocho Rios you have to visit Dunn's River Falls. Spectacular... and you hike UP a waterfall... only place in the world I have done that (and yes you do fall and yes it does hurt).

There are many places that I still want to visit - South and Central America, Africa, Spain and Italy to name a few. But my top priority is Egypt.
I've always been fascinated by the history, and am hoping to spend a couple of weeks there once I decide to finish up teaching in China. It makes more sense to go from here, rather than to fly back to Australia and then go to Egypt.
So here's hoping I can save enough money in the next year to have a great holiday once I've finished up here.

Egypt is high on my list. As I have mentioned before my in-laws speak Arabic so I got some CDs and learned enough to say "hello" "how are you" and so forth.
So to impress my wife I get on the phone and I talk to her mother. She doesn't understand me and I DEFINATELY don't understand her.
My wife gets back on the phone and starts laughing.
She says "Mom wants to know why you are speaking with an Egyptian accent"... come to find the CDs I bought were Egyptian Arabic not classical or Moroccan arabic.

That's funny. At least you tried though.
I get laughed at all the time here when I try to use the meagre Chinese that I have learnt. You'd think total immersion in another country would help, but when you're first language is one that doesn't use tones, it's so difficult.
Most of the time no one understands me, or they simply laugh. I think half the time I'm telling them that I'd like to marry their dog!

Italy and Greece absolutely. Spain... that's on the backburner (been there once) but the cool thing is there is the rail that goes to all the EU countries and being from America where it takes 4 hours just to go from one side to another it is really nice to know you can literally be in 4 or 5 COUNTRIES a day if that is what you want to do... completely different type of living.

JAPAN!
I would love to go there, I love Anime, Manga and Japanese culture in general so I would love to go to Tokyo and see the famous tower of Tokyo, or see palaces dedicated only to Anime & Manga.
Also I love Japanese cuisine and I want to taste the original japanese dishes: I know that there in Italy often Coreans run a Japanese restaurant so it's not real japanese.

Philippines is on the list. I have an aunt that is filipino and after oh 15 years or so I still cannot understand her but she is so nice and I would love to go and see her home country. I am sure the next time they go over if I asked they would be more than happy to have me as a guest.
Outer space... we all should be travelling to space by now. JFK made an impossible prediction to be in space (on the moon) in I think it was 10 years and no one thought it possible and it happened.
If you watched the movie Apollo13, you would see how primitive their technology was and how incredibly dangerous it was.
With the advancements from the '60s to today and we can't get to Mars or the Moon again or..... uuggghhhh it annoys me... it will happen someday though.

I've never been to Cuba, although the USA and Cuba are not really seeing eye to eye, it's a really popular place to go on vacation here in Canada. I'm planning to go soon when my girlfriend finishes college, I've never been there, but from what she told me, the beaches are some of the best out there.

I have been to all the Carribean Islands and the best of all is Grand Cayman. The water is so crystal clear and the fish are so specacular. The Islands are clean as a whistle and the people were very nice. It is more on the expensive side but definately a place to go see.

A place that I have yet to visit is America. I have been longing to visit it since I was a child. My hubby mentioned a week ago that we may go to New York this year, which made me excited for a couple of days. Anyway, it is never too late and I know I will visit most of the states of America before I die.

I haven't been to South America yet. I would love to walk the Inca Trail and go on a cruise around the Galapagos Islands to see all the wildlife. It would be wonderful to see the Caribbean coastline of Colombia and Venezuela. It would be amazing to see Jimmy Falls. I would love to see the mighty River Amazon. It would be exciting to see the beautiful city of Rio.
I would like to go to South Africa to see the stunning looking city of Cape Town and the pretty Garden Route. I would love to explore the forest reserves in Madagascar and see lemurs. I would be lovely to go island hopping and snorkeling in the Philippines. It would be wonderful to see the Great Wall of China and some pandas. It would be exciting to do the Golden Triangle in India. I would like to go to Japan and take a train pass to see the whole country. I would love to go to Canada to see Vancouver, the Rocky Mountains and Prince Edward Island. Happy traveling.

First there are places here in the states I would like to go, Maine, the Outer Banks, Boston, and Savannah. Then I would love to go to Scotland, where my ancestors came from and Italy, where my s/o's grandfather came from, I think it would be very interesting to see both places. But, if I never travel overseas that is okay too, because I love when we travel on the Harley.

Never been to the extreme northeast although I am origionally from Baltimore but have been to Savannah (hung out there while my house was getting pummeled by hurricane Ivan).
Beautiful city with so much history and heritage... We are so close (under 300 miles 483km) that it is worth it to almost do a day trip... a little far but even to stay there is unreal. Absolutely beautifu deep south city with all the charm you would expect.
