Okay, i know I'm really behind this beautiful love story written by Nicholas Sparks.(Tnx to a friend of mine who lend me the book by the way.Ü) I've just read this book yesterday and I was really touched with the story. I wasn't able to help myself but feel the emotions too..(damn!) Sad to say I wasn't able to watch the movie before that's why i took the time reading the book instead.
Promise, I love the story. If the writer didn't end it that way, I guess people will not be able to tell that it's a great book right?. (Well, there came a point that I just wish the author didn't end his story that way because i really hate sad endings.)
Who has gone reading it? Where you able to feel the same way that i do? Please share your thoughts..tnx.;)

I have not read Message in a Bottle but i did read The Notebook and Walk to Remember. Nicholis Sparks writes these amazing stories that truly can have sad endings but it is real. I like what he writes. It is very difficult to read the endings but I think it can help those who are going through the same thing. Understanding that life is hard but there are really great moments.

I read the book and I did not really like how it ended. I am such a sucker for happy endings that is why the ending of the story left a bad taste in the mouth for me. For days I have pondered on why the male lead character had to die? But oh well, I am not the author so I just had to accept how the story ended. But I do agree with you that the story comes alive with all its emotions, it is still a good read.... despite its ending!

I didn't read the book but i saw the movie and i find i felt the loss and hope. Profound sadness because of the loss of a great loved ones but out of the ashes from such loss could come another love that could be equally intense that one cant help but hope. I can't also help falling in love with such kind of man who could feel such depth of emotions and write such beautiful love letter. LOL!
