I'm 4 months Pregnant and I've been having Strange dreams. not of my baby mind you. More or less of me Dying or getting hurt. My latest is my sister-in-law tries to kill me with heroin. The last thing I remember of that Dream was her shoving the needle into my chest and Me havin an alergic reaction to it.
Does anyone know why I am having Death and near Death Dreams? Before I was only having Fairy tale dreams.

First off, I would like to say congratulations on your pregnancy! I am too 4 months pregnant and have nightmares all of the time. My worst ones are ones that something bad happens to not my unborn baby but my 3 kids whom are already here. I also have weird dreams of having the baby to soon and not being able to get to the hospital. I think that these dreams are normal I have had them with all of my pregnancies.

Yep all the disasters that 'could' possibly happen and even some you never consciously even thought of can be dreamed about by any pregnant couples or even parents and grandparents. You never stop worrying about your kids and grandkids really. I am a mom of 2 and grandmother of 4. I have had some pretty horrific dreams in the past of things 'happening' to my kids, let me tell you. And grandkids too. I even still sometimes dream that I am pregnant (oh my) my hubby always laughs and says 'I hope not now' just when we are free' lol. I had a dream of my oldesnt grandson out on the street when he was a baby in the middle of the night. It teally shook me, because I really thought I could hear him crying. He and his parnts lived in our basement apartment at the time and I had to go downstairs to check if he was alright. He wasn't even crying and was sleeping peacefully. Strange. I just think you dream these things because you care about your family and want the best for them!

Too much media information related or unrelated to pregnancy sometimes causes unconsious thoughts of dying during pregnancy. I think you are worrying too much. Maybe yuo have strained relationship with your sister in law. Do talk about it to your friends but not your husband since he may not agree with you and would definitely defends his own blood. But by expressing your thoughts to others, they may clear some unwanted thoughts bothering you. Too much bad thoughts during pregnancy is not good for your child. I hope you can do something about it. I also experieced weird dreams during my pregnancy, I guess its normal but you have to control them so as not to make you worry and causes some stress to your baby.

When I was pregnant with my first child I had a dream that she was an alien baby with huge black eyes.
Another time I had a dream that I was holding her and my sister tried to rip her from my arms. In my struggle to keep her safe my sister pulled her away & dropped her, killing her... it was horrible! Luckily it was only a dream & never happened in real life.

Is this your 1st? If so it's probably your subconcious telling you that you need to worry about yourself more now that your responsible for someone else.
There are web sites to look into the meanings of your dreams. I checked some of them out recently because of some pretty strange dreams I'd been having. They have some pretty interesting theories on what certain things mean. Good luck figuring it out.
