yes I do believe that money can change a man. When your earning will increase your expectation will also increase and slowly but surely you will be changed.

it does not change me..mething..maybe now i am a little more conservative..and tend to stay at home and be more paranoid..as people treat you different if they think you have money...at work people would yak yak yak about spending money on this and that and going out all the time..but me and my wife eat at home most of the time and do not go out very often..but i let it slip that i paid cash for my vehicles and i don't have a mortgage...and they just look at you differently and think you are either lying to them, bragging too much,, or nuts...
they are the ones who are nuts...as i told them ..hey at my age i should have a house that is paid for and debt free..if i did not have the wife i got it would not be possible..that is how i can do this as we both worked and we did not have any kids...it does not grow on trees...but it is like manure..it is only good if you spread it around..lol

It does different things for different people. For me, it gives me a greater confidence to go forward and venture on new way of doing business, business expansion etc. There are some people who have not seen the money for for long time, when they get money, they find it difficult to handle the situation and they go beserk with the money and make some wrong investments and again land up in trouble. Some people are known for their financial planning and they know how to save for rainy day. So generalization is not possible, but one thing is sure that money really changes the moods and habits of people may be for good or may be for bad or neither.

You are right, money do changes the moods and habits of people, some for good and some for bad and some people when they get money they start to act beserk, especially if they came from not having anything to now being rich enought to buy everything. thanks for your opinion

Thanks for you respond I appreciate it very much, well, I guess money changes some people but I don't change all, and I guess it also depends on the person, when you have money you have to be smart and now how to spend it, and when you spend it you should always spend it wisely, thanks again for replying

It all depends on many factors, first of all, if you were poor previously, you will get more opportunities to live and enjoy life causing many people to break down in their willpower and spend extravagantly and we all know it doesn't last for very long until you're back to square 1. Second would probably be your morale, some wealthy people share their good fortune with others while others act like Scrooges and refuse to show acts of goodwill. Anyone that would be willing to help others in need is a hero in my eyes. Money is known to make people corrupt so anyone dealing with huge amounts should be cautious of it changing them on the inside.
I hope that solved your question.

That is true some people are rich and they don't like to help others than they are people who are rich and they do help others and like you say they are heros in your eyes and I agree, thanks for responding dmitriy

It depends on the person. My friend and I were just talking about this the other day. We looked at famous people who started out poor like Pam Anderson - YES money changed her a lot! And Shania Twaine- CHANGED, but others stay down to earth.
Look at storied of people who win the Power Ball. With all those millions, they are back to where they started in under 4 years! How do they do that?
Some people, like my sister, raised poor & then got more when they were older, started out materialistic & just got worse because they could afford to feed their habits.
I would like to think that money wouldn't change me. I like who I am.
At the very least, I think it changes you on a small level, like; for me it would mean less stress- so it would be a change for the better. If you don't have to live paycheck to paycheck anymore & you don't have to save up for a month to go out to 1 dinner...
Bottom line, everyone changes every day, that's life. It's just how you take what you get & what kind of person you are at the core.

I agree, if you had money you wouldn't have to worry about your bills or saving money to go on a trip or as you said out to dinner, but money do kind of change people in a way, but i guess it does depends on the person as well, thanks for replying katkah

I think that money does change you, but that does not mean that it has to be for the worst. You can buy people better gifts. You can stop whining about having no money.
