I'm glad to see that Lost is finally returning. However, they only produced 8 shows before the writer's strike. They planned to have produced 16 this season. Anyway, I'm going to enjoy it while we can.

Yes LOST is returning in a matter of days. I will bet anyone that the story of only 8 episodes being shot before the writers strike is a trick. LOL Look at it this way. Remember who the crazy writers are of LOST. They knew they were going to end the series in 3 more seasons, right. So, I believe they already had everything written up to the end. LOST is not like other shows. Other shows have many different writers usually involved with each episode. In other words. A writer(s) who wrote one episode may not write the next. In the case of LOST, we all know it's the same guys writing every episode. That's what makes LOST so awesome. It's a continuing drama unlike other shows which have a different outline each week. OK, this is my theory. The reason for the very long gap between seasons was because the final three seasons were already written and the crew and cast decided to film all three seasons and be done with it. It makes perfect sense. There are 48 episodes left. Which means you know what has to be shot. So for financial reasons you finish all 48 episodes all at once rather than sending everyone home from Hawaii only to come back three times to shoot each season alone. I'm telling you, they're done shooting and these crazy writers we have come to love and hate are playing a trick on us. After all why would these guys strike? They are the only writers (creators) of LOST and they already know the ending. Unlike what many believe. They are not making it up as they go along. These are highly intelligent and manipulative professionals. So my bet is there will be the full season of LOST. ‹(°¿°)›

So you are one of the disbelievers who think the creators are making it up as they go. I've talked to so many people that believe it. That's because we, the viewers, are baffled so we think they are lost also. Besides, the writers strike only started about two months ago. They would have had plenty of time to shoot at least one full season before this happened. LOL ‹(°¿°)›

They probably had a general idea of where it was going but I really doubt if all the episodes were written. They just really didn't have time to write that many ahead of time.

Download them from torrents... I know it's piracy, but I think that the real crime is that we are not able to watch series we want, when we want, so yes, downloading is one of the solutions. =)

You should watch tonight's replay of the season finale! There is going to be extra information popping up at the bottom of the screen. They are going to fill in background details that may help some people not be so "lost"! LOL

Yippee!! I can't wait till tomorrow! I hate that they were only able to produce 8 shows as well. Hopefully they'll get all this writers strike straightened out so we'll have good tv shows to watch and not crappy reality tv. Oh well, like you I'm just going to enjoy the shows they've produced. I can't wait to see what happens!

The writer's strike really make their 16 episode year starting at the end of Jan. look quite foolish.
