I've just recently started watching this show. It's so sad watching what the people and their friends and families go through. My question though is: Does anyone actually stay clean and sober after they get help? It just seems like almost all I've seen, the people end up relapsing. That's sad because some of these people look like they could die at any time.

I just saw a follow up show yesterday, where they profiled two people who'd been on the show. They are both doing fine. Onr's been sober for 4 years, another for two.

I have watched this show since it came on. I love it, which could seem sad considering what its based on but I like to watch how families come together to help their loved ones. Anyways I have seen a few of the follow episodes where people have been sober for 2+ years. I'm not sure if they are still sober but they were for awhile that they were. I wish there was a way that we could keep updated online with the stories we see
