The Doctor has lost his World Championship of Moto GP for the first time ever since he began to win it. Valentino Rossi crashed on turn 3 of the most beautiful & the most difficult track of the Moto GP season, the Ricardo Tormo Circuit of Valencia. It is Rossi's one of the least favorite tracks. The 2006 Moto GP season also was the worst season for Rossi, starting from Jerez to Valencia, he had only had 5 wins in the season & 3 engine failures. Rossi still known as the Champion of Champions of 2 wheel motorsports, lost his streak of World titles to the American Nicky Hayden. It's also pity that, Rossi would have won the World title if he was the winner of the penultimate round of the season held at Estoril in Portugal with a convincing 5 wins over the 2 by Hayden. The season started with Rossi crashing & just finishing 14th at Jerez. Then engine & mechanical failures in China, France & U.S.A. The Championship was almost decided at that point. But Rossi with stunning technique cameback brilliantly as Schumacher did in F1 before he retired. But both had similar fate, to hand over the races where they were supposed to win & obviously must win situations.

Valentino Rosi - Valentino Rosi sides out of the Moto GP World Championship.
Well, this was quite a pitty that Valentino Rossi did not finish as champion. Unfortunately for us, the race was not shown on the channels we have. By the sounds of things it must have been a nail biting race! I think it is about time someone else make championship for a change. Nick Hayden had a fall two weeks ago and he probably thought all was lost. But hey... check what happened now!

Yo, fortune slides both sides, unfortunately for Rossi fans, that fortune slid off.
