Hi vehaileairu, That was a great information to share. Its a very good move from Paypal's part to actually do it, it was long due. Last year in December, I have had transfered 100$ from Paypal to yo my ICICI bank account in India and they only charged me 50 INR, which is very less. For 200$ they would not charge any fee, I am being told. So, have great fun here on internet. *cheers*

Thanks a lot but does this mean that credit card is no longer necessary? For if still it is, then this is not advantageous to me because I have credit card. Then I understand that there is still verification which is not easy if we do not have the required documents.

paypal is been around few years, made available for philippines just last year.. just this month, they made the transfering to bank available as well.. we cannot transfer cash in paypal from our banks only receiving payments. but we can use credit cards for our paypal, to verify the account, but we still can use it, with or without credit card. hmmm... we can open an account by visiting paypal. www.paypal.com take care!

Thanks for the info. So is it better than moneybookers? Unfortunately I've already been paid by mylot to my moneybookers account but I didn't meet the minimum amount of $14 in order to withdraw that money. That means my next payout from mylot will have to go to moneybookers, before I can switch to paypal, so that the money I already have in moneybookers won't be wasted.

Oh thanks to you for sharing this to us. I hope I still could retrieve my paypal account that has not been active. I ysed to receivemy payments here from e-gold. Anyway, thanks.
• Philippines
29 Jan 08
yes, and i was an e-gold fan back then.. but receiving money is really hard for peso.. we have to convert the gold to the pinoy gold exchange, then sell it and get it for transfer in each bank.. i did it only once and i swear it was really inconvenient .. take care^_^

This is a very good information. If this works, I don't have anymore problem with payment processors. I am using moneybookers here at mylot and I have $15 in my account. There is a fee of about $2 to tranfer the money to my bank account and so far I have not tried it yet. Have you tried tranferring your money from paypal to you bank account? Did it work? How much they charge?
• Philippines
26 Apr 08
according to paypal they will charge us 50 pesos for transfer less than 200 dollars. it will 5 days to take one whole week for the transfer. i havent tried it yet. but, my cousin did receive his from other site then transfer paypal to his bank account in metrobank. take care robert^_^

I hope it's true, thanks for your sharing. In the past I asked Paypal and they old me they would charge me USD35 so that I can withdraw the money from my account. That's so expensive. If now it can transfers money to my bank account without charging me any fee, then it'll be great.

yup... we are now like the rest like india, malaysia etc.. the rule is below 7000 pesos, they will charge 50 pesos per bank transfer.. and if its above 7000 pesos, its free.. just try to check your paypal, take care^_^
