One of my friends is about to celebrate another birthday. She is one of those people who never wants to have a big celebration on her birthday. This year, however, she's turning 21 and is making a big deal out of heading to L.A. this weekend to go out and party.
This made me think: Do you myLotters like big celebrations? Will you go out and party and live it up for days on end? Do you like having a small dinner or a group of friends around? Would you rather not celebrate at all? How do you like your birthdays?

I typically don't celebrate my birthday at all and even if I do, it's just with my family and a few friends. One of my siblings would usually treat everyone in the family out to dinner and then we'd go and hang out at home. When I was younger, my parents would throw these big parties and invite a bunch of people. This was fun because I got to see and be around a lot of my friends. As I got older, it became too much of a bother to have big celebrations.

it doesnt matter if it's a small or a big group. one of the things that makes birthday special is that you are able to celebrate it with the people you love and who loves you. there's no finer way to spend your birthday than celebrating it with your loved ones. birthday's one of the time to enjoy pleasures that are short and sweet, as it only comes once a year ;)

i think younger people like to live it up and go party and have a good time. i know next year im going to have a pretty big celebration with it being my 21st and all. my parents who are in their 50's dont really like big celebrations but when they hit milestones we usually have a big get together party for them.
