What role can non-violent communication (NVC), compassionate, non-judgmental listening and self-expression play in activist movements? How can these be used to address issues as large as racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, destruction of the environment, and war? Must activism necessarily be adversarial? Is there danger in relinquising our enemy images? I appreciate any thoughts you may have to offer!
