This is one of my favourite activities when lying out in the garden in the warmer weather! I once saw a dragon being formed and it was so realistic, however, by the time my friends came out to join me the dragon had got fed up with waiting and gone off to breathe it's fire on someone else. It's amazing what you can see if you really look. I have seen a dolphin, a clown and it looks like the clown is juggling too. Great ways of lazing the day away, great activity and it is also very very relaxing. Such a simple activity which we take for granted, mother nature really does move in mystery and fascinating ways.

A unicorn was the most amazing thing I think I've ever seen in a cloud.
Looked at the pictures you provided. I don't think any up here have been that well defined. I wonder if a couple of those weren't retouched a little?
Calf elephant seems like that would be very neat to see. It's cool that other people check out clouds for the pictures in them.
I saw one cloud stretch before it broke up once, it made the picture look really funny, can't remember what the picture was, just surprised to see it all before my eyes and remember it was funny.

I have an answer to this question. Heh.
In WV (West Virginia) there is a paper mill. A lot of steam rises out of the large pipes and when it is real cold it freezes creating this mushroom cloud (that's not moving) in the sky. For this to happen it has to be REALLY cold... like -20°F (-29°C).
If I am right it's in Beckley WV. It's been a while since I've lived up there.

It was many many years ago before I even had a digital camera and I tried to find something briefly on the internet but it is such a rare occurance to see it... not quite as wide or as big as a mushroom cloud of an a-bomb (the steam rising up would unfreeze some of it) but definately the same type of shape.

I see hills and mountains in the formations of clouds, many a times and I continue watching them as they look so real and enchanting.

Hmmm... I can hardly remeber doing that. But I konw I enjoied it a lot when I was a kid. I think that a dragon, and a wolf were some of the amazing shapes I've seen.
But it's all a matter of perspective... =) or as they say, it's all in the eye of the beholder... =)))
