I am currently in a long distance relationship and am having trouble keeping it together. I'd like to hear some tips on how I can deal with the issues of loneliness, mistrust, temptation, and so on. Go ahead and tell me some of your experiences with long distance relationships so I can get an idea how people work these darn things!

i have been in a long distance relationship for a while and i think the only reason i have lived like this and been faithful is because i really didnt and still dont want a full time long term relationship, so when i go out on the town i dont feel any kind of temptations because im just not interested i think if you are going in for a long distance you have to be totally relaxed about it and not worry about what the other half is doing just think.. they gotta do it thats what gets me us by

I can appreciate that kind of attitude. When I got into this I was fairly relaxed about the whole thing. However it seems the longer it goes on the more I fall for this girl (I'm a real sucker). So I think it's just getting harder the more it is prolonged and as far as I can see there is no immediate plans on either side to be close very soon. What have I got myself into :(

Trust,, if you don't trust them, then you don't need them,, Love.. if you can't be without that person and have to hear there voice or see there face,, then don't do it! Always try to be there for the other person,, even with distance you can still lean on each other! If your heart is fill with joy, you will over come it and you will end up with your true love
Good Luck and I wish you the best
