Are you a diabetic? It seems to me more and more people these days are. I know more people that are diabetics than not. Is it the food we are eating now adays that is making people become diabetics? Or is it the additives they put into our food to preserve them? Why is it that more and more people are becoming diabetics? Or is it just because we are getting older? What is your opinion on this subject?

I am not a diabetic. However, both my mother and husband are. I think a person becomes diabetics due to several reasons such as hereditary, food, lack of exercise etc. Whatever the reason might be, once you have become diabetic it is your responsibility to keep it under control. If not careful, it can create some serious health issues down the road. Eating the right food, exercises well and maintaining the right body weight can all help to keep your diabetics under control. My mother takes medication and she watches her diet (she is aged). For my husband, alongwith medication and diet, i make sure we exercise regularly to burn out the fat of our body. When you realise you have diabeties, you just have to take the first steps towards fighting it..
