Ebay is going to lower their listing fees by about 50% to in effert to boost listings that sounded good until you read on and see they will be raising the final value fees of things that sell by about 67% those effected the most will be things that sell under $25. So is lowering the listing fees really going to do any good?
This was reprted by cnn here is the link to read:

I am not happy about this change at all.
It is bad news for the small sellers on ebay.
I find this especially bad for myself. I list very small paintings on ebay and most of them are in the range of less than $25.
Since this change will be bad for my business, I am not sure as to what I am going to do.
But, I won't give up selling on ebay since ebay is where the buyers are, it seems.
However I will look for and try out new venues to make online sales.

The way I read it, if you count the free gallery photo, which I always do... It is less expensive to sell something for less then $10

thats horrible! they make the least from us smaller sellers so i guess they need to find a way to keep their money going. oh well, i'll jsut go on amazon or even craigslist until the realize their fees are driving customers away. i hate their fees as it is. what are we paying about 10 to 20% on items that sell for under 20 (once u figure in the listing fees, gallery)
