I certainly miss the VINYL days. I dunno if I'm just feeling nostalgic but I always felt the sound quality is better (Call me crazy).
If there are new music set into vinyl it tends to be expensive, hence my record player cranks out the old stuff my grandma owns (and a few other stuff my dad collected when he was alive).
Best vinyl album I used to own is a Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - which unfortunately my mom accidentally threw out. Sucks really.
My friend, however, prefers the 8-track stuff.
Any vinyl fans out there? Your thoughts?

I like vinyl. It has a really different sound quality that works well with certain musical genres. (Blues, for example.)
I still have a few old punk albums kicking around that I'll probably never get rid of.

Wow.
Hang on to those ... it's gonna cost something in the future.
As for me, I'm hanging on to my dad's 60's and 70's album. He has a lot of Beatles stuff.

hahahaha, I love my records too, they are great, I have a friend who has the best collection, his whole dining room is full of 60's records, all in their own sections, I saw a post on a forum the other day just in case you get sick of your records where you can make bowls out of them by putting them in the oven over an oven proof bowl and then when the record becomes soft you mould it to the shape of the bowl hahaha no I know, I know we record lovers would never do that... I liked the records also because you used to get a great big picture on the cover....:)

Yes, I definitely love the album covers.
You could appreciate the art or non-art that it is.
I also like the scratchy sound when I place the needle. Call me weird. Hahaha.
