What does your pets do while you are on the computer?

Abagail in Petie's bed - Abagail in Petie's bed in my office.

I work from home on the computer and while I am working and on myLot my kitty Sammy (my Avatar photo) has to sit on my lap. Sammy is on my lap purring very loudly and does not like it when I move my arms because she curls up with her head laying over my right arm. If I move her off my lap then she is back on my lap in a hurry. My little dog curls up in his bed and sleeps or he brings me his toys to throw. Abagail my other cat walks around under my desk and gets her tail caught in the cords of the computer. She has pulled my keyboard off my desk keyboard holder. If all these pets are not under my chair or on me while I am in my office I am wondering what kind of trouble they are getting into. My question is what do your pets do while you are on the computer?

We all know what a silly boy Gissi is. He is barking just to get you away from the computer so he can have his turn on myLot and emailing all his doggy friends.

Well, usually, my dog, Skeeter, he plays his "I gotta potty" Sometimes he gets in that mode where he thinks it's a game. Just to see if I will get up and let him out. When he really has to go out to potty though, he will come up and grab my arm and try to drag me to the door. As for Spitz, the only house cat we have now, he generally ignores the world and goes on about his business. He'll spend part of the day laying by the aquarium, trying to grab the goldfish.

Has Spitz ever been able to catch his limit? Petie will do the Peepee dance also. I let him outside so he then can bark at the wind. Sammy is now turned around with her head on my left arm.

Actually, the whole aquarium puzzles me. We had a smaller rectangular aquarium in the den in the basement for over a year, and he never once paid any attention to the fish. When my son got the bigger 35 gallon hexagon one, he suddenly became fascinated with them. Fortunately it's too tall for him to try to reach in there. He's not brave enough to try to jump on top of it!!!

Well it depends on what time of day it is really...Usually the dogs are outside or sleeping and the cats are either sleeping or playing somewhere in the house..None of them try to get on my lap or the desktop though because they arent allowed...

It is nice to know that all of your dysfunctional children(pets) are doing fine. I am just kidding. I love to hear about them. I wish that I could have a pet where I live, but alas, all I have is my annoying roommate. She is listening to the radio and singing along, off key. She does not believe me when I tell her that she CAN NOT sing.

She sounds like some of those people you see on American Idol that argue with Simon. I know I cannot sing, when I tried to sing to my babies they cried that stoped me from singing a long time ago.

When I lay down on the couch I have the dog and two cats on me boy I would be squished if I had 6 cats. LOL I have a friend who has 6 cats in the house with a kitty box. You know the house does not smell nor does the house kill you with hair balls. She keeps things very clean. I am empressed with her deligence. I am sure you love all your babies.

I work from homa as well. My dog usually makes the rounds of the house. Generally staying away from the cat. She then finds my foot under the desk and lays on it. My dog weighs 40 pounds. This generally means after a few minutes my foot falls asleep. So the dog is only happy til I move my foot. My cat only snuggles in bed.

What a nice foot warmer you have. When I am laying on the couch I love to stick my cold feet under Abagail to get them warm.

Let me on your lap? - No way Buster. HAHAHAHA!!
If noone else is home Buster sits on the rug by my feet or on the recliner usually. Once in awhile he will jump onto my lap. Trying to type with a Beagle on your lap is not an easy task. HAHAHAHA! Here's a cute shot of him staring at me while I was on the puter recently. I didn't let him up on my lap either. HAHAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I keep a tank of goldfish in my sitting room right beside my desktop. While I am busy working on my computer the lovely fish swimming freely and relaxing in the water. I always take a look on them whenever I am involved in thinking for problem solving. In case I feel bored and tired with my computer work I will feed my pets with their favorite food.

I love fish but cannot seem to keep them alive. My older sister has a huge tank and does well with her fish.

I have 3 cats. Katou will never come on my lap, but the 2 others ... When it's not Pablo, it's Mimi. They take all the place on my lap and I have some difficulty to type lol. I stil can type a little bit when Mimi is on me, but when my little baby cat (he's 3 years old lol) his on me, he take all the place. He roll on me and sometimes he wants to be in my arm. It's ok when I'M only doing my paid email, but when I'M writing on mylot, I will put him on the chair bhind me (if my boyfriend his not there) and he wil sleep there.

Sammy is laying on my leg with her head on my left had. I sit with legs crossed reaching to the key board. Not the best body mechanics but confortable for me.

I have my computer in a cat-free zone so I have no clue what they are doing, unless I hear them fighting. Mostly when I go check on them, they are sleeping somewhere.

Generally my doggie(his name is happy) he lays on my bed and watches me and wags his tail whenever I look over at him and speak...every hour or two ill take time off of the computer and go into the livng room and get one of his balls and throw it for him and play with him until he gets tired and then i'll head back to the computer and whenever i do that he comes back to my room with me and gets on my bed and then usually he's out for the next few hours....he has tried to lay beside me before but whenever I move around alot i must disturb him because he just gets up and moves.

My little dog Petie follows me all over the house and the garage. I have locked him in the garage when I have gone out there to do laundry and shut the door before he could get in. No I try to make sure he is in before shutting the door. It does not take long for me to miss him because he is always under foot.

When I'm on the computer my cats have to under my chair or in my lap. When they want in my lap they usually claw my leg until I pick them up and put them in my lap. When they're on my lap they hate it when I move, if I move just a little bit they claw me. When they're not with me I know they're getting into something they're not suppose to.

Sammy is declawed so she cannot claw me. She does meow at me in mean tones at times when I move. Abagail just gets in the computer wires and rubs up on my legs or pushes Petie out of his basket.

I thought about having them declawed, but at the time I also had two dogs. So, I figured I should let them keep their claws.

They sound like one of the one's I use to have. He wanted so badly to learn how to type. He would walk back and forth across the keyboard.

My 2 dogs lay as close as they can to me. Both of them are too big to sit on my lap but they are right next to my chair. Usually if I am not paying attention I will trip over at least on of them while I am trying to get out of the chair. This is the only time they sleep during the day is if we are all in this one room. Otherwise they are both playing with there toys in the house.

Usually our Morgana is sleeping...she does that alot. Right now as I'm typing this, she's laying in the hall, with one eye open half asleep and half awake. If I move too much she opens the other eye and watches me. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

My that Abagail is naughty...first she steals Petie's other bed, and now she likes to be in the bed/box where Petie usually goes and pouts? LOL My kitties are pretty good and don't bother me much when I'm on the computer. I have a box with one of my old pillows in it, which is under this other small desk I have that is near my computer desk and that's usually where Pyewacket sleeps, Kissy is usually either snoozing on the sofa. But every once in awhile Kissy makes it clear that she thinks I've been in front of the computer for too long, and jumps up on the computer desk and plants herself between me and the monitor, so of course I can't get anything done since she blocks my view

It is difficult if you allow them in your office. Neither you will be able to work nor the pets get rest. Mine is always roaming around and when I work she comes and puts her head on my lap and looks at me soulfully.. She can sleep only when she is alone. Othertimes everyone should keep petting her. She is a Dalmatian.

I use to have a dalmation and love her a lot. Since I am home a lone a lot they can sleep a lot.
