This game called Sonic the Hedgehog is a franchise series of video games released by Sega, Alex Kidd has been replaced by the mascot character, Sonic the Hedgehog, because Sega thinks he can be fit in this game series. Sonic the Hedgehog himself was released in the Sega Gensis series in 1991 and that includes Game Gear and Master System. The franchise sold more than 45 million copies of its individual games in March 2007.
