Why do you share sites with your friends on mylot?

I have very few favorite sites so I seldom have anything to share on mylot. The few times I have discussed a site has been because I really like it and think it has something to offer to everyone here. If I share a link it probably has something to do with a discussion I was talking about and if I talk about a site then it has to be something that I'm enjoying and want to share with my friends.
What is it that makes you want to share sites with mylot members? Is it only for referrals? Do you have favorite sites that you just want everyone to see for themselves?

I don't add links very often to my discussions. I might if I am making a discussion about something and want the mylot members to look at what I'm talking about. The only other websites that I'm on where you can get money or points to get prizes are netwinner and mypoints but I don't put those links on here. I think the netwinner is on my profile page though. It doesn't really bother me if I have referrals on those websites or not because I don't really go on them that often. I am at mylot most of the time.

I almost never add links to my discussions but I might say the name of a good site and tell everyone about it.

I don't share sites very often and we're not supposed to share referral links so leaves those out. I have a lot of friends that share sites alot though and most times I'm glad they did because I really don't seem to find time just to browse around the internet and know I'm missing a lot of great things.

Referral links are something I never bother with anyway and not only because it's against the guidelines. I have to admit I've found some fun sites by members putting links here.

sometimes i share my site for referral but sometimes i share it because i want them to enjoy also the way i am enjoying on that site..
my favorite site that is not a paying site is the friendster.com.. i really enjoy it.. for those who haven't an account on friendster yet, try to sign up there, you will love it... add me on your account (angel_lyca12@yahoo.com). be my friend.
