Daytona 500

The 2008 Daytona 500 is just a couple of weeks away and I am very excited about it. What do you NASCAR fans think. Anybody going to the race? Who has got a shot at winning this famous race? What do you all think, who is gonna take the checkered flag?

I'm a Tony Stewart fan so I'd LOVE to see him win, I'm not sure he will seeing as its his first race in the Toyota. As much as I'd like to see him win I have to say I think it'll be Jr. Which works for me too, seeing as my husband and oldest daughter are Jr. fans!

Yeah Jr. would be OK with me too. I'm a Gordon fan, so I guess he is out teammate now. I have always respected him.

From what I've read at NASCAR.com Jr and Gordon are doing great as teammates and Jr is fitting right in he's making a big effort!!

As the opening of the year, this will give a great look at the teams and who seems to be ready especially with the CoT. I am going to be rooting for the Hendrix team, always was a Jr fan, and like Jeff and Jimmy (was hoping Jeff ended up first last year in the cup standings).
I think Jr is going to have a great car and will be able to show everyone how good of a driver he really is. Look out for the 88 AMP car.

Yeah my favotrite is Gordon, but I'm not the biggest Johnson fan. I have always been all right with Jr. Happy he joined us!

Call me crazy, but I go into every new Nascar season with the hope that the Daytona 500 will be won by a dark-horse, someone that could really use the money and the attention. I'd love to see someone like Robby Gordon or John Andretti win the big one.

Well it is the 50th running and a Petty won the first one it would be kind of cool if a Petty won the 50th but that is my heart talking. My head is telling me that Jr is going to win the race just to show his step mama that he made the right decision and show her what she let go.

I'm not going to the race. I would have to say Earnhardt jr. has a chance of winning the race, all because he switched over to the Hendricks team.
