To gain weight in a heathly way, I'd suggest to stay away from junk foods and try eating more nuts, and dried fruits, and eating a meal right before going to bed.

Do you eat a lot of junk foods? Increasing your intake of junk foods and greasy foods is not a good way to gain weight. Junk foods usually contain unhealthy trans fats or saturated fats. Even though you need to increase your calorie consumption to gain weight, those calories should come from foods that are good for you. Eat healthy fats foods which includes omega 3 essential fatty acids sources like tuna , salmon , flax and walnuts. You can also eat proteins like lean meats, fish , poultry, nuts seeds and legumes. It may be easier to eat five or six smaller balanced meals per day rather than eating three large meals specially if you are not used to eating much at one sitting.
You can also try taking high quality multivitamin and mineral supplement.
But most of all the most important for healthy weight gain is EXERCISE. Remember that it can take a while to gain the weight you need, but be patient and continue to choose healthy foods until you reach your goal weight.

Wow! You are the lucky one as many people are trying to lose weight, but for you on the contrary - you want to gain weight. The tips are: 1) Make sure you have a big and full breakfast. 2) Have an afternoon tea after the lunch. You can have biscuits, cake or sandwiches. 3) Before you go to bed, you can have a bit of light snack like an egg; a glass of milk etc. Although you want to put on the weight, you still need to do a bit of exercise as you want to look stout and healthy not flabby.

eat lots of chips or very fat food like doughnuts or buns and cakes and you don't even need to eat so that you cannot move. Crisp buiskits will help you too - for they are made from butter and this makes them very hard... And by the way, eat more bread and meat, it'll just bring weight and not fat actually
