It happened a day when me and my little brother were bored and at the lokal foodstore, we wondered what the most expensive candy/sweets was and how much the price was per Kilo of it. First we thought we found it, some wierd candystraws that would flavor milk when you used them. The price per Kilo on those straws were 714kr or 109$.
Now i was bored and did some more research and found a much more expensive candy, some wierd mint tablets with the brand name Ozon or something similar. these have a price per kilo of 1142kr or 175$. what is the most expensive candy you found in a foodstore or supermarket, botiques and small specialised shops/stores doesnt count.

I know the straws you mean but they are very light so can you really count them. Surely you have to establish what constitutes as a portion and work out the price per portion.

Good point there, when figuring out the price per kilo there i checked how much the straws weight is and it was 35g. The package costs 25kr or 3.8$ (and holds 10 of them) which gives each straw an individual weight of 3.5g and a price per portion of 2.5kr or 0.38$(that is if you se 1 straw as a portion). I count them because they are more candy than straw, i agre that they weigh very little but that feels not like a reason to remove them. But ultimately i find the price per kilo most interesting.
The mint tablets are even more lighter, all you get in one package is 14g of tablets, meaning that it weight 60% less that the straws. the packages weight is much higher than the straws package, but the contets weighs alot less.
