Have you ever secretly admired anyone?

Well this is something that has happenned to me and is still current.
I was going to put the church I attend but I dont want to be found out. So here goes.
I have noticed this church brother for over three years now and it is not that I am in love with him or anything but I just admire him greatly. I dont even know if he is single or not but I just love the way he sings and behaves.
The other day we went to a service and I saw him, so I told my friend that I admired him alot of course she laughs me all the time and then I hear her saying that he sings very good and we started to discuss the poor brother. He has no idea what is going on and we just look at him all the time and he caught me several times. I still do wonder if he suspects me. I hope not because I am not looking for any relationship but I just love to admire him. My friend teases me mercilessly with it but I dont mind we joke about it all the time.
You know this is the second time this has happenned to me!

I have secretly admired people like teachers and ones like that, but I do not think that I have ever secretly admired anyone that I had a chance of being with, for very long. Either I would find a way to let them know how I feel and see if they felt the same or then I lose interest in them. If it were a good man in church, I would not put that off for very long.
But, you said that you are not looking for a relationship right now. If he has caught you looking, I am sure he knows how you feel. People can usually tell just by the look on your face, when you have a crush on them.

hahaha! that sounds justlike me. You know we went again to his church and I looked around and did not see him. You know I felt the feeling that someone was watching me and when I turned he was right there looking at me! I told my friend "he's here! he's here! and he is looking at me!" but of course in the excitement of the singing and worshipping I forgot about him again until we were about to leave I waved to him.

Hello dear sharon. I think that it is very normal for one to admire someone else for his or her merits to some degree. It is the same with me when I watch a very wonderful movie and I would be an admirer or rather a fan of hers or his for the wonderful performance in the movie. lol.
