ever since these whole internet hype started -- i've been using yahoo and i never changed it despite the spam issue. my email address for me is like my contact number. i'm afraid im gonna lose all my contacts if i switch providers. i just hope yahoo takes time to look into these spammers. i just hate it. my wife is in yahoo too. and imagine her shock whenever she opens her mail and sees a message with a subject "are you unhappy with your p*nis?" it was amusing from the start, but getting really annoying already.

I have no experience of gmail.com. I recently signed up for gmail account. Did not get any mail yet. People on line are favoring this mailing system. I am yahoo mail user. And I did not get any trouble on yahoo.

I always use the mail of the ISP I am with (Comcast presently) which simply allows downloads to my computer. The email program I use is Mozilla's Thunderbird, before it was Netscape.
I rarely use web based email, and if I need to access mail from somewhere else, I can still access any mail on Comcast that hasn't been downloaded yet.
I still have ALL the email since 1995, which is sometimes a surprise to people I correspond with, when I send them an email they send that long ago... ;-)

I use gmail and I love it! Its so much better then yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, and charter, and my mom pays for charter. and her and I think gmail is a lot better then any other mail we used. You never have to worry about deleting emails and the scam blocks work really good. I used to get so many scam emails but not with gmail. I mean I get some but its not a lot. gmail rocks!

I use the three most popular as of now, gmail, hotmail and yahoomail. But its yahoomail, i regularly use for everyday. I like yahoomail, because for me it is easy to use, and downloads fast. I also prefer to use it as my main email because I am already familiar with it, with all its features, I have been using yahoomail for almost 5 years. Yahoomail is less prone to viruses because they have built-in anti virus..
But I have heard gmail is best in spam filtering.

I use GMail with GMail Notifier and Better Gmail for Firefox, and Yahoo! Mail with a paid account that came with my ISP.
They both have good interfaces, and good spam blocking.

I use GMail and YahooMail.
GMail updates fast and has a bigger capacity and it keeps on growing every now and then. They say you will never need to delete any message in you mail (how thoughtful!) It has simple and friendly interface.
YahooMail on the other hand, has a very good interface and pleasing aestheticsa and organization. However, speed becomes considerably slow.

Whenever I first got internet and got my own personal email account...I got hotmail....but since then I have switched to yahoo mail...The reason behind me getting yahoo mail is because to me its easier to getinto my mail and read what I have and its more convient for me as well because I already go to yahoo.com....Another reason that I switched to yahoo mail is because before I knew about this someone told me that if i had questions i could ask on yahoo answers and alot of people would help me with my questions...I wish that mylot.com had email :-(

Personally I havent really tried anything otherwise from hotmail. Im kinda... racist? Im korean and hotmail is super popular there... if im not mistaken hotmail used to be korean until msn took over. But maybe im wrong. Gmail... its kinda confusing to me. Archiving... chatting... agh.
