okay, i got this problem recently. at this moment i often sleep little bit late caused some work to do and whenever i wake up in the morning, i just feel so tired in every part of my body, feeling tired in my mind, no spirit and do not want to move from my bed :( but i always force my self to move from my bed soon as possible caused if not i would be late to reach my office.
the weird things, when i am on my work, i would not feel any tiredness anymore and my spirit going to back to me again.
so any advise for me to face this matter, my dear friends? i would be thankful for your advise in here since i really need it.

don worry you're not the only one who feels this way. yes you need to force yourself to wake up, once you do that, go and immediately brush your teeth and wash your face, which i assume is what anyone would do. grins.
once you wash your face, you'll definitely feel refreshed. at least, it works for me and my son as well. imagine it. you're feeling sleepy, so you splash yourself with cold water. definitely, you'd be awake i think.
but at the same time, i use my face cleansers and moisturizers making my skin/face feel even more refreshed and clean. i have an oily face and my face tends to be really oily when i wake up esp in the mornings.
this is the simplest solution that i know of and one which works for me. i hope it does for you too.

try to sleep early so that you can get enough rest. you must manage your time properly so that you are able to finish your work earlier. if you're doing housework, maybe you could ask your husband(assuming you're married) to help you out.
i notice that if you make a routine of sleeping early, then you'll feel so much refreshed. my husband used to have a similar problem. he has quite a hectic schedule as well you could say. so at night, he's tired out. we have our dinner early around 7.30pm or latest by 8. we'll be in bed by 10pm. if he stays up to watch any programmes, then he'll have a problem getting up too. i usually have to wake him up as i'm used to sleeping late and waking up early too. grins
if you start to feel tired at night or sleepy, go to sleep immediately. don't put off your sleep to finish your work. it's better to wake up earlier feeling refreshed and finishing up what work you have left. hope it helps.

since i am retired i try not to get up before i am done sleeeping..today i missed church as i was on the computer too much and watch a movie on the video..the lost city..very good with Any Garcia Dustin Hoffman Bill Murray..about pre castro cuba..very good music and romantic and drama...lol
but i am retired and sleep late and go to the YMCA for swimming and exercise everday..even on Sunday..this is our winter in Michigan..and it is very very cold and lots of snow..so i go to the sauna and swim..but while i was working i worked the after noon shift and I hated the midnight shift..but the after noon shift was good as I never had to set an alarm clock..check out your blood by a doctor..some people have hypoglcemia or hyperglycemia or insulin problem like with diabetes...or you could be having sleep apnea which can be found by a ENT doctor or a sleep disorder clinic..it is only one of many symptoms of depression...
I am only a nurse aide (part time) and not a real doctor...but sometimes the nurses know more then then a real doctor..lol..eat well and eat good nutrition (vitamins?_( also a massage can help with a soothing buble bath with soft lights and music..all good for the soul...but these are just suggestions..take care of yourself

I know how you feel coz that is what's happening to me too....I feel so tired in the morning and during work, I still feel the fatigue but its not as great...
Well, I'm not sure if you drive or take the bus...For me, I take a bus and the subway to work...So what I do is, if there is available seat on the bus and train, I will just take the chance to sit and sleep even for few minutes...Same when I'm travelling back home...This way I can gain some rest...
It does help a little

If one is hale and healthy, when there is a load of work, one gets tired, but then the health should permit one to get sound sleep. If a person sleeps for 7 to 8 hours, I feel that tiredness vanishes, because the body system is made in such a way, that all parts of the human body gets enough rest, they do their homework during your sleep and you are ready to charge. If there is no sleep, then the problem of tiredness continues. To get rid of tiredness, one should be interested in working to a time system, one should have rest at propertime, one should do exercise, and above all, one should drink 3 litres of water everyday, so that one will not feel tired!! Try it out, my dear.

Probably you need to change your body clock a little so that you can go to bed earlier & feel less tired in the morning.
The way to do this, the next morning as soon as you wake up, go outside into sunlight for at least 10 mins. That night go to bed about ten mins earlier. The next day go out to sunlight again, then go to bed a little earlier again. Gradually do this over one week, until you are going to bed at an earlier time.
It is the sunlight first thing in the morning that changes your body clock.

zUsually when I am tired, I don't wake up in the morning but lunch time already. I eat first, take a bath then start doing my tasks for the day. I make it sure that I already regain my strength before doing anything again for the day.

okokok....here's what I do....first get an alarm clock preferably with different melodies and with a snooze button. Choose a melody that you actually LIKE (one that won't give you a heart attack when it sounds). Then set your alarm 5 min before you usually wake up, that way when it sounds you hit the snooze and get an extra 5min to urge yourself out of bed. When you're up take a shower (I take a shower in the morning also, a quick one) just to wake up. Also if you're not worried about waking anyone else up then turn on the T.V. Watch the news channel or something, when you hear people talking you feel more awake. When you're going to work listen to some relaxing music--burn yourself a CD with songs that you like.....hope it helps!

I am like you. When I feel tired and still sleepy, I stay long in the bed and sleep until I am satisfied. But when I have to get up really early for some early appointment, I have to really force myself. Sometimes I set the alarm, then watch the tv and make coffee.
