I have actually not attended a boarding school, but I have a few cousins that did until high school. At high school they came back and attended a public high school. They hated the boarding school for several reason. The main reason was that they were away form home. Another they felt everybody was snobbish. The high school allowed them to participate in noraml high school things.

There are always good and bad points. If we could afford, we would send our daughter to the boarding school as it would be good for her future by learning independent and self-discipline in the early age. However, sometimes I thank God that we didn’t have so much money that we don’t have to send her away as what is the point to have a child without seeing her grow up in front of you. This type of question is difficult to give an ideal answer, it totally depends on the individual.
