Do you get wired messages on Yuwie or other social networking sites?

I've been at Yuwie for 6 months and you know me there as Noot54 which used to be my handle on mylot, too, till they got sick of me pushing Yuwie. I get all sorts of rubbish messages but basically I just ignore them. I make great use of the delete button - it's my greatest privilege! After 6 months it's making me about $30 a month but that's not my main reason for being there. I get to promote my novels and short stories and sales have gone through the roof!

Of course I am a guy so I get the reverse messages... join this site and see hundreds of girls from your area la la la. I actually got an invitation from someone here at MyLot... DID NOT appreciate that at all.

well they dont need to be on a public domain like here or yowie . Seems to me like they need to stay on the one they are in if they want to do all this sounds like a try to pick you up thing and I would try to cancel him out.

Nothing like that. Just today I was on my blog fixing some posts. I was publishing my post when a box appeared on each attempt. This box was asking me to enter userID and password I am using on Yuwie. I wasn't even on Yuwie! I ignored this box and deleted Yuwie banner that I was promoting on my blog. I never see this box again. There is another post here about the same problem, I'll give you the link.

I was so turned off by the Yewie craze here a number of months ago that I want nothing to do with it...or any other site other than Mylot. It is all I can do to keep things current here. I am amazed at how people flip/flop all over the place. Maybe the message came from just that. People are distracted and unfocused because their attention is here..there and everywhere. People in our busy world are not thinking before they speak in a lot of situations. Perhaps we all need to slow down a little...and focus...take a deeeeeeep breath or two....ahhh I feel better already! (chuckles) Raia

The "sexy" pictures are just a lure for people to cick on their page and give them page views. The more sexy pictures they have on their page, the more their pages and pictures get viewed...and the more they earn. If you check out some of the people on the sites, you'll find a lot of guys have a scantily-clad women as their avatar and have pictures of the same girl in a bikini on their page. Thenyou look over and the perosn is a 25 yo male...LOL Anything to make a couple extra cents.

Sounds like a site to miss. And there is no such thing of a sexy picture of me. You could reply with that apple avatar picture you used to use. It worked for eve. Lol.

LOL I Know what you mean. That is why I don't go much for the social network thing. I know , I am here , but I myLot feels different to me . I usually don't even bother to respond to some of the messages because like you it feels to me that people really don't think before they write.
