I have been having a hard time finding anything good to read, I read alot of mysteries, horror, true crime, and nonfiction, and cannot find one to read. I check out a book from the library and then get home and get through the first paragraph and can tell it is not a good book and end up taking it back.
Can someone please give me some titles I might try out?

I LOVE Ian Rankin and his Inspector Rebus novels. He has a great way of making you identify with the characters and builds on these with each novel. If you have not read him I guarantee you will thoroughly enjoy him. Doesn't matter which book, all are great. Knots and Crosses is his first Rebus work.
Love to hear what you think if you choose to read him. :)

I like Lisa Garner.....Tami HOag....Iris Johansen
Now, some of these books need to be read in order so if u go and get one..check online first to see the book sequence.
Patricia Cornwell and PJ Parish are good authors too.
All these are mystery, murder suspense or forensic type books.

For non-fiction try "One Red Paperclip". It is a fun, fast read that is just enjoyable. It is about a man who started with a paperclip and traded up for a house. I'm sorry I can't remember the author right now.
