Has anyone ever done spirit writing?

Was wondering if anyone out there has ever done spirit writing and what have been your experience? I have done it in the past but it seemed to scare me a bit, so I stopped doing it. I was affraid I might be letting in bad energy. Any response would be interesting.

hello kimchi i have never done spirit writing but know of people who have but protection is the key to stop any kind of negative spirit coming through and it takes time to learn this in your best interest find someone who can help you do this-littleowl

hello kimchi am glad you went to a class about spirit writing-its true spirit will come through your guide who will then do the automatic writng for you as to what spirit is telling them-there is a lot to 'sift' through it was about a year after my friend and i had started developing our abilities as mediums that the class were shown how to do it but unfortunatley i wasn't there at the time thats why i haven't done it as yet

I went to a class last night and found out a little more. He said it's fine. He said to that the spirits can't lie, they may not know the answers. You can do this to contact your spirit guide. I may give it another try. The only hard part is sifting through the meanings of the information.

I am very interestd in spirits and ghosts, but I have never acted out on it, because I'm scared of attracting bad/evil energies, too.

as long as you protect yourself properly before embarking on something like this then you will be fine-there is nothing to be afraid of

I've never done it but I have read poetry that claims to be written in that way but I've never actually seen anyone do it. Is it like doing a Ouija board as in you just sit with a pen and paper and wait?

This is how I did it. Take a piece of paper in one corner at the top write yes in the other top corner write know and in the middle of the bottom of the paper write I don't know. I say a prayer for protection like; The light of God surrounds me, the power of God protects me. The pressence of God watches over me, where ever I am God is. I think that's how it goes. There are other prayers for protection if you want to say something else.
You relax and lightly hold a pen in the center of the paper. You can ask if there is a spirit here please identify yourself by moving my pen to yes. I always made sure to ask if it was a good spirit or not. It will take some practice. Sometimes all you get are scribles. When your done always thank the spirit for coming through and talking to you.
