Recently we found out that my father is Bi-polar. Since finding out I am trying to learn as much about it as I can. One things for sure...I am already very familiar with the instant moodswings, the depression and the sleepless nights. These are things I've dealt with my entire life growing up with him. But until recently I always just thougth that it was part of his personality. Now Im trying to figure out exactly what things are caused from the Bi-Polar and what things are just his personality...which I guess since Bi-Polar is what he is then It's all his personality and I just have to learn what the best ways to deal with each situation are. But if anyone has any information or personal experiences about Bi-Polar that they would care to share with me I would Greatly appreciate it!
