babysitting and not getting paid for it

well i got to babysit for my sister in law once agian. Shes looking for a job and i babysit for her while she does it. its been a full month with on and off babysitting for interviews and job searches. but no pay. which is ok with me but i need money too. and i know when she gets a job i will have to babysit everyday and then get minum pay. I am just helping her out but its kinda annoying. I have other people wanting me to babysit for them for free now and i tell them no b/c they arnt family and only family get freebes. does anyone else babysit for s/o family and dont get paid. or your own family. it kida sucks but i dont say nothing I just deal with it.

Well, in India, where babysitting for pay isn't the norm, we always babysit for each other and babysitting for the family is taken for granted..lol...that's what an extended family is for!
You are the one who has to decided what is right for you...but "only family gets freebies" sounds right to me.

my sister had her baby 8weeks ago and i have babysitted alot on that short time with no pay.
i really don't think i would feel right taking her money off her either even though im doing her a favor. i think she could of bought the baby something with it. i never really think of myself i could have no moeny but still refuse but like you say its family

yea its family if not i dont do freebes but for her i will just not aall the time,
