I go to Virginia Tech and we have pretty large classes and then there are some small classes. My biggest class thid semester is around 560 students and my smallest is about 35. This one is for college students..how big is your biggest class, and how small is your smallest?

i'm in University Technology Malaysia, during my batch, our biggest class is +-300 (very noisy), n our smallest class is 13 people where its a elective subjects n not many want to joint that thats...in my +-300 students, i think it very not practical coz i can hear noise all around the corner even when the lecturer is talking in front, cant imagine u having 560 peoples

not too bad..I don't see where it is that noisy. The professor uses a mic so I can here him above any noise. I try not to let it distract me.

Our biggest class in the University of the Philippines in Diliman reaches 250 only and the smallest is 7. With those 7 students, they should have dissolved the class but they did not have other choice since we are all graduating that semester.

I like having the big classes. I actually have 3 classes with over 300 students. I have two with 560 and 1 with 350. Oh yeah and we do meet in the same auditrtium at the same time, so it is not split up, contrary to popular belief.
