Top Mylot Referrers...

Out of curiousity... i took a look at the top referrers of mylot... and i am quite amazed that the one on top actually referred 5734 members... i don't think all of them are active... but that is a lot of people...
I wonder... what did that person do to have that many... i only have two... one being my husband... but none of them are active... i don't want to go on a referring spree... but i sometimes think that... wouldn't it be great to have a lot of member under me so that i would earn more...
Well, no pain no gain... so if i won't go on a referring spree... then i would have to be content with what i have for the moment...

I would imagine that this member was probably in Mylot at the start, when not so many people were familiar with it and it was a new and better way of earning a little pin money online. Then, he either went through a traffic exchange programme, or put his Mylot reference in every E-Mail, to get people interested.
I have 5 referrals only and just two of them are currently active, but I'm happy to carry on that way. :)

Yes, it must have been quite time consuming to accumulate that amount of referrals. I'm happy too, just to be here amongst all the lovely people who visit, day to day. I love the site, and all that really matters is that everybody on here that I've met and befriended is so sweet and understanding.

The means of getting those 5,000 plus referrals must have been time consuming... i hope he was rewarded for his effort... you are lucky to have at least two active referrals... i read in some discussion that others have at least 20 or 40 but none are even active...
Well, for now... i am happy with the way thing are going for me here... so i am not yet in the referring spree mood... thanks for the response...

I am sure not all the referrers are active. I fell for this scam of buying referrals before. The site is www.buyrefs.com. I purchased 25 referrals and they gave me 75. However, all the names turn out to be fictitious and they never even responded to any posts at all.

That was one of my lousiest scammed experience. That is why today, I do not believe when sites proclaim that they guaranteed referrrals to you. What they said is not wrong in sentences but a real scam. They would use database which they in turn purchase from others to sell it to you.

What made you buy those referrals... i don't think that one can actually buy a referral...so i guess you were duped by that site... i also have my share of scam sites and i vowed never to be scammed again... experience is indeed the best teacher of all... thanks for the response...

I would like to know how they got all those referral, I can't even get 3 I got 2 but they aare not active at all. Who is the person that got all those referrals? That good they don't even half to be on Mylot. their referral are making them money.

I agree, having 10 very active mylot referrals would be a gold mine... imagine reaching payout without even putting your fingers on the keyboard... but i also think that that would be a boring way to earn here in mylot...
That person must have spent night and day looking for referrals and i hope he was rewarded for all his efforts... thanks for the response...

That is an awful lot of referrals and I myself wonder how that could be done, but I do know a site that you can earn referrals for whatever site you may like, so if you would like my link I would be glad to send it to you.

Lucky that person who has so many referrals! i have only 2 and they are not active although I tried to explain them what's MyLot all about. that person probably jpined myLot amongst the first people and he/she probably promoted the site a lot. I try to do the same, I promote it on 3 different and very visited programs, but it doesn't help. Maybe this person has his/her personal blog.

We have the same situation... only two but inactive referrals... i visit a lot of sites but i haven't done my share of promoting mylot... i once put the referral link to my friendster... but since i only have a few friends there... no one signed up... a blog is the best way to get referrals but i do not know how to construct on... thanks for the response...

goodluck i hope you get some refferals i dont think many people will stay here because of the rates and there are lots of other sites paying better rates. But if you inform people on what to expect you should earn quite a bit even 200 refferals making 1 post a day is a dollar! that is cool there only problem is finding places you can put your link where people want to see it.

I am not planning to get referrals in the meantime... but in the future... i might...i think eventhough the rates in mylot are quite low... we can always boast that mylot really pays... and they were never late in doing that... mylot is also in the top 5 among the sites that pay its members... thanks for the response...

5734 members...that is a big number for me. I don't even have a single referral. That is my fault. I don't promote My Lot anywhere at all. It would be good to have active referrals but I don't think it is an easy task. At this moment, I don't intend to go on referring spree... I don't even have enough time to log on here myself... *sighs*

I promoted mylot in my friendster page... but since i only have a few friends... no one bothered to sign up... then i bugged my husband into joining... he did but has yet to post or respond to a discussion...i don't plan to go on a referring spree either... but maybe one day when i feel like it... i will... thanks for the response...

Wow i have know referrals for mylot he/she must have put a lot of work into that. I find it hard to find referrals for mylot because people don't think it pays good but i am not on it for just the money i like the disscusions and have learned a lot since joining!

People who stay here... doesn't do it for the money... but for the friendship and learning... and i agree that it is hard to find referrals who would think and feel the same way...here... we learn more... and the pay is just an added bonus... thanks for the response...

I don't think that all of those people are active either because if they were I think that person that had all of the referrals would be a very rich person and would really need to do anything anymore...I wish I had all those people under me really working! Have you really calculated what number that would be if you had all of those people under you and they were active that would be alot of money.I would go on a referring spree but I really don't know where to post it I have been trying to find places that will allow you to post it!

I agree that not all will be active... since a lot of mylot members are not... but it would be great to have even only 10 active referrals... that would definitely make it easy to reach the $10 minimum payout... i don't refer people so i do everything by myself... but in your case... if you want to get referrals... some forums allow referral links... maybe you can get some there... thanks for the response...
