What will you do during the advertisement break?

I usually don't watch too much TV and if I do....I'll be running in and out of the kitchen. I watch TV when I am doing something and run back to do a little more during the commercial breaks. If not, I just surf channels.

Great question! Nowadays I think many people have TiVo where they record live television and fast forward through the commercials. So technically speaking, we're really never actually watching live TV anymore. My family has DISH network, so we have the ability to fast forward through commercials and rewind (only so much) back to something in the show. It's really nice! Sometimes I'll watch a movie live on TV and have to sit through the commercials. I'm not a very patient person, so I'll usually read a book, use the bathroom, or do something else that takes only a couple minutes since commercials really aren't too long. Oh, and yes, sometimes I'll get a snack to eat while watching the remainder of the show or movie...usually ice cream. (LOL)

i changed the channels...searching for another good shows...yes i also did that...or sometimes i call somebody on the phone or whatever..

I change the channels to see what else is on.

I try not to run in the kitchen for snacks because I started gaining weight and that doesn't look good. During the break i switch to another channel and although it sounds sill I watch, for a few minutes, what's on other channels. It's not the perfect solution but at least it keeps me aways from the kitchen, and I really need that because if not my weight will just keep growing and i really don't want that.

Sonetimes I continue doing some chores or if I'm already resting, I just ignore it and try to focus with attention with other things like asking silly questions to my family for the sake of having a conversation.

I usually go to the bathroom or go and do some dishes. Also get some snacks.LOL Cant watch tv without something to snack on.LOL

It depends if I am watching one show or two.If I am watching one show, I use the commericals to go to the bathroom or get a drink or something to eat.But if I am watching two shows I flip to the other show when the first has gone to commericals.

i usually wait until the commercials end. but when nature calls, i will wait for the commercials before going to the toilet. sometimes, i would prepare some food before i go watching something. and then i would wait for the commercials before i tidy things and bring the plate and all to the dishwasher. at times when i'm surfing the net while watching tv, i would surf the net during the commercials but most of the times, the internet gets the better of my attention so i would end up surfing the net even if the show is already on. ^__^;;

Well, I would normally turn to another channel:) but if the show is really interesting, I would wait by watching the adv.

Hi youless, This is normal practice for me, I usauly change the cahnnel or to toilet or other work. But there is problems in india, most of good programme comes in prime time and they are able to match almost same time. If there is commercial break on one channel it will also be at other channel. So some times changing of channel does not work out.

I usually switch to a different channel till the program comes back on, or sometimes I just hit the mute button. And then of course sometimes, like you, I'll use the bathroom or get a snack. Or I'll get on the internet for a few minutes.

During commercials I will usually channel surf. I dont like commercials specially if its a really good show. If its not a really good show ill just switch channels till i find something else good on and then when that shows commercials come on i will go and find another show. I cant wait for the super bowl commercials though. They always have the good commercials that arnt boring. Prolly cuz you dont see them 50 million times a week. am i right?

I go on myLot or I do dishes, or I take a nap. As you can gather, there is a commercial on the Tv so as soon as it is over, I will go back and watch the Judge Show on Tv. Sometimes I might clean the living room or do some housework, and I might work on my novel, but in that case, I would need more than just a two minute break. Oh I do go to the washroom, all that tea drinking does have an effect.

The same with me my friend. I would also go to the restroom or just went take some snack or some book, since there is many time when I watch tv i need to do something else too, so I would list in the book or do some crafts.

I usually do little tasks. Like doing the easy household chores, read a little, eat something. Only those tasks that requires little time and effort. I don't actually watch that much. Only if I like the movie or whatever is being shown on tv.

I alway go for another chanel and turn back after about 5 minute.

I either channel hop, go and make a drink, go to the toilet, read a magazine, or something similar. I must admit though I don't watch a great deal of TV these days.
