What major national or local event happened the day u were born??

This question applies to you or your children, please share. Well I was born at 2:30 am on a Friday. March 1 is the 60th day of the year, 61st if it's leap year. The day I was born 7 officials were indicted for obstructing the Watergate investigation, Mark Gosseaar that played Zach on Saved by the Bell and on NYPD Blue was also born, Elvis played at the Astordome in Houston. And that's pretty much it, that dang Watergate thing stole my spotlight...LOL. Well the day my 3rd child was born it was the day the Chicago Bulls won their 5th championship ring and went into double overtime, and yes I went in labor while watching the game. Well, I hope the day you were born something more exciting was going on.

well not for me, hehe well i was born before valentine's day if tht means something. grins
but my son is a christmas babe. what's even more amazing is he's a premature babe who was supposed to be induced on 2 jan before his due date. but he somehow wanted to come out early i guess. didn't let me watch all those nice christmas progs on tv. heehehe
so on christmas, exactly at midnight, i was admitted to the hosp delivery room and awaited the brutal pain. ;) hehe tht's abt the most interesting it can get i guess.

AWWW that's so sweet. I have kids birthdays close to holidays, but not that close. My baby was born a week before Mother's day last year, she was due the Tues. after, but this being my 6th child the doctor thought she might come over the weekend and he was going to be out of town visiting his mother. And since we knew she was gona be tiny he wanted to make sure he delivered her in case any problems arose. Child 5, and only boy was born on Friday the 13 in July on his dads birthday. Child 4 was born in November around Thanksgiving and close to my grandmother's birthday, that sometimes falls on Thanksgiving. Thanks for shareing your story.

wow most of your children are born on really special days. ohh so you have only one boy?? one of my friends is also like tht. she has including her 5 sisters and the youngest is a brother. grins. so your youngest daughter is fine then? did the doctor manage to be there?

well i was born on the date that the whole world can celebrate.. i was born on december 25, 1988 at exactly 6:39 in the morning.. the day that christ the saviour is born..

How is that having your birthday on Christmas? I dated a guy when I was younger who was born on Christmas, it was nuts. I go stir crazy with my older niece and nephew being born a week before Christmas and 2 days apart from eachother. Thanks for posting.

My daughter was born on the very first Earth Day, April 22, 1970. I save the newspaper clippings about it and it still amazes me how there was so much seeming determination to start taking better care of our world but almost 38 years later we're still polluting like there's no consequences.
