Ok what have I done wrong
For the last 2 Nights Gissi has been sleeping in the Living room as he has made himself another bed on the Chair
I am not allowed to touch it, every time that I go to straighten the Cushions he will jump up there and tell me of so I don't even bother any more
2 Nights ago the little Fellow decided to sleep in here and no matter how much I called him he totally ignored me
So I decided to come through here and I laid on the Settee, 2 minutes later Gissi gets up and goes in the Bedroom, so I thought great and went through to go back to my Bed, well he comes out from under the Bed and goes back in the Living room, so I told him not so politely to do what he wants then
And of course Gissi does, I mean I am not in a Huff not really honest I am not what difference does it make where he sleeps
The thing is though his snoring is still to be heard by me in the Bedroom grrrrrrrrrr
I love the little Fellow he is so adorable (sigh)
It is ok though I will get my own back one Day

Hey it's not such a big deal is it, we all like a change now and again, I don't always sleep in my kennel (mainly because I don't have one), but I do sleep in different places, usually in the kitchen, but I'm sometimes moved to the living room, and choose between sleeping on the couch (not allowed of course, but nobody will see me), or outside mummy & daddy's bedroom. Daddy keeps telling me though that If I'm outside the bedroom I've to patrol the house every hour to check that everything's alright - some hope he has.
I'm sure Gissi is just trying different places for a few days as a change and will return to his old habits soon.

Gissi seems to be a pushy little fellow. I think he just wants to sleep around. My cats sleep all over the house why can't Gissi?

OMG!!! I can not believe Gissi would be sleeping around! I never thought he was that way. There is no chance that our sweet Gissi could be a horndog. No way!!!

I have had a dog do that before actually the dog that I have right now...he use to do that anyways...whenever I would go to bed at night Iwould ask him if he wanted to go to bed with me, I would pick him up and take him to my room and close the door well I would be laying in bed and he would go to the door and whine to get out so that he could sleep on the couch by himself...but since I have been spending more time with him, he has gotten to where he wants to do more things with me...he is ready to sleep with me everynight now!

He is growing up and has a need for his own, private spot.
Maybe he has bone or treat in his spot.
My older dog is watching her treats from younger dog and cat....nobody can walk close to her....

Animals can get mad too, alfa dogs are showing some attitude..
Just remember, animals need their own safety spot like people do....

Firstly... I love the new Avatar! ha ha ha.
I'm finding this one difficult to fathom, unless the li'l fella is mad at you for cuddling your new pet, at night. Could it be he's jealous of the Hot Rabbit! :)
Other than that, at the moment, I have absolutely no idea. Has his friend been to visit lately? Maybe that could be a reason... I just don't know, but I hope things get back to normal soon for you, my friend.
Brightest Blessings, love and hugs. xxx

I love to hear your stories of Gissi. It sounds to me when he gets something on his mind that is the way it is going to be. He probably decided to have another bed to sleep on. I don't think you have done anything. He snores and can be heard clear in your bedroom. Wow. If you think about it-he is just being Gissi. A wonderful dog from the stories you tell and also from the site you have about him.

Animals are fickle creatures. My husbands dog has decided to sleep on my side of the bed, right where my feet go when I get out just so I can step on him or trip over him. Well, I hope Gissi gets over his little problem and comes back to bed, I know how it feels when they decide they have a better place to sleep or be. My big guy Sam has decided that my husband has a better lap these days, I am crushed he is my boy, my little baby kitty and he sleeps with me not my husband.

Just wait. I am sure Gissi will let you know what the problem is. He loves you. Whatever is bothering him, he will tell you when he is ready. Until then, let him sleep in the living room.
P.S. Did you threaten to cut his long hair? If so, that might be the problem.

That is strange, my Shilo has been doing almost the same thing. Since we brought him home he's slept every night on my bed but 2 nights ago he decided to sleep in my recliner - which was fine with me as he too snores and disturbs my sleep a bit, what little I get these days. 2 nights he slept in the chair and I slept great - last night he was back on my bed though and again I didn't sleep. Maybe it's something in the air.

Hmmm...it sounds like he's teaching you a lesson for something. Maybe he's upset because he knows you've been sick? It's amazing how much pets can sense of what their humans are going through. He'll no doubt get over his little "hissy-fit" and get back to normal before long.

I think getting your own back is part of the problem here Angel, you have both gotten into a cycle of getting your own back on each other and now it is spiralling! I am going to phone in a little while and I be he tells me why he is doing it! At a guess he has probably heard you going on about his snoring and gone into the huff himself! xxxx

Well, is Gissi mad at you for something? Maybe you started snoring and it was bothering him lol! I know when my sinuses act up, my cat won't come near me during the night! LOL
