I Came Here Because They Pay....I Stay Here Because They Care

That was a noble reason to stay here on this site. I can site four reasons: to help, to earn, to learn, and to gain friends!

I also joined because I was told it was a good place to earn money and it was easy. Since joining I have come across so many good hearted people who care about others and try to at least lend an ear and give advice as best they can. My life is like a soap opera and I've been through a lot but the people here have definitely helped me through it all. Whenever I feel the need to talk about a problem the first thing I think about is mylot and my friends here.

i wasn't aware that this site exists before. i just relied with friendster for social networking. but mylot is a lot more different from other social networking sites. in mylot, people really interact with each other. talk about anything under the sun. and while doing so -- the best part if people earn something from it. unlike in friendster or myspace, what i notice is people just show off how nice their page/s is. no real connection. you can even add people you don't know and call them your friend. while in mylot, you don't have to have the people you interact with added on ur friend's list just to be called a friend. whether they are on ur list or not -- as long as they show genuine interest in the discussions you post they are already rated as your friend.

I started the same as you do, I was looking for money and someone drive me to go to myLot. The thing is I still have very little earnings but this does not bother me. I have joined some other forums and I have noticed that they are not the same as the people in myLot. You are definitely right on your observation. myLot people have the heart and are respectful. They always have this respect for fellow myLot members. The additional good thing is you will learn a lot from people and this is an added bonus. So no matter what may happen, I will stay with myLot and post more articles not for the money but to share my thoughts and ideas and to interact with people within the community. For I know that everyone here has the respect of other members.

i'm similar to you. the people are really helpful here and they really give positive feedback. also i learn new things from them. i share what i know with them as they do with us. i love the fact that we can actually post 'informally' on what we know instead of writing professionally. it'll be tough on people especially if they are not that good in writing but do want to communicate their thoughts.

i've been here for 1 day. and i as a Chinese student who prepareing for the toefl, i think it can help me to immprove. actually i am a little worry about my test on May 10th..

Well that's the reason why I'm still here, I just reached my first anniversary here just last month!;) I guess most of us who came here never really intended to stay that long, since our main reason for being here was money. Just imagine, this is the first and still the only earning site I've joined and still actively participate at.I was also held up here by the good members, where during my first days, willingly helped and guided me. So I got stuck to it, though most of them have left this site, I'm still here and continuing what I was told to because I enjoy being here. I believe that since I came here, I never really imagine how good it can be to interact with other people who are from the different parts of the world. Sharing of knowledge, ideas and opinions makes me feel more welcome though we don't personally get to see one another..

Yeah I truly believe in you. I stuck in here not becuase of the pay but the way many topics are discussed and lots of topic to tackle. I like it here more than in any other forums. Although I do encounter a few weird posters around but then majority still is still the caring type of people which I like.

yes man....i completely echo to what you have said.i didnt have idea about people here.but as i am coming to know poeple a great happy felling is growing inside me.it is truely amazing

Really you need to stay here to know how much you'll enjoy the community in mylot, to me its like a life chat and a global network of people i can relate with; the good, the bad and the ugly. It a nice place to be.

Ive only been here a few months,and only really started posting things a few days ago. I love mylot,people are nice :) and its not only for the money, but to give good advise on differant things, I've been looking for a site like this,GLAD I FOUND THIS SITE!! I LOVE IT!!

I came here becaurse a friend from yuwie invited me and same with rotatrixfriends and lazzeo and myviewin´sure its not much to earn but when we get friends those places.. and litle + litle is litle more ;-)

i joined mylot over a year ago because i have seen some earning potential in it and i was right...i have been paid by mylot for 3 times already...and the people here are all warm and intelligent beings which i love to have some good discussions...i have enjoyed the discussion here and they really pays you...

I am also like you I first came to mylot because I saw that it was a quick way to make money all you had to do was answer peoples questions! But a few days after I got here i started to see that all the people werent here just for the money that they actually tried to help me with any questions that I had and i have really made alot of friends on here and have found out about other ways to make money! I really do like this site because like you said the people on here really do seem to care and want to help you out!

My story is the same as yours. I came here over a year and I am still here because of the friends I have made, the help and advice I've received. I have also enjoyed helping to get rid of the trolls, cheaters and nasty mean spirited users.

To start with I came just to make money. But now I find myself spending more time on here than on myspace. I love how friendly and helpful everyone is here.

to be honest i came here as a friend suggested it and was a good way to earn extra money.i have been here for about 4 months now and have found that mylot has become my outlet,and i have enjoyed it so much and have made such wonderful friends and really love the chatting and advice from people from all over the world.even if mylot did not pay us anymore i would still be here.cheers sue

Me too, I joined coz they pay but now my reasons for staying is that I've learn and can learn many things from our fellow mylotters.

I came to my lot by chance and I was going to shut down the page when suddenly I've realised that this page pays you off. So I stayed with the intention of making some money, but when I saw that I was making a very low amount of money I've decided to quit. None the less here I am writing this comment.Yes I fully agree with you here in my lot people are always ready to help each other.Aske a question of any type and you will alwasy find a reply. Help is just round the corner with mylot. I would really ike to thanks those great brain who invented this site.
