What if you fell in love to someone younger than you?

That would depend on the age difference. I am currently married to a man that is 3 years younger than me. My first husband was 8 years older than me. I know it's looked on differently for men and women. While it's considered "normal" for an older man to have a younger wife, it's not "normal" for a woman to have a younger husband. I'm not sure why this is. In all honnesty, age is just a number. I have met 18 year olds who were more mature than some 35 and 40 year old men that I have met. I've also met some 25 year old women who were less mature than a 14 year old. If you are in love, it shouldn't matter.

I don't think age is an issue for love...I think the more important thing is if that younger someone is attached and whether he/she love you too...Otherwise, it is pointless to pursue even if he/she is younger but doesn't love you... I have male friends who marry younger girls and female friends who marry older and younger guys as well....so I don't see that as an issue

The real question you should be asking is does she love you. Unless she is not of legal age there is no set age boundry on love. Consideration for the future should be made but aside from that none. Now if she is 20 years younger. Most men would say good for you. But if you marry consider this. When your 60 she will be 40. Still quite young and will keep you on your toes. Also you should ask will she want children when you no longer do. Of course if she is only a few years younger there is no problem as this is the case most often. Instead of age worry about compatibility. How good are you togeather? Do you both see the world the same? That is the critical question to ask.

i don't really think about the age issue. the important thing is you both love each other & are willing to sacrifice for each other's sake. actually, my boyfriend is younger than me & believe it or not, he's the best boyfriend i ever had & i'm not saying this just because he is my current boyfriend. i am saying this because it is the truth.

i dont think that a big deal.. for me its the matter are u into him/her n vice versa..n are they can get along with u, age cant tell that u r mature that age.. its al depend on u, whether u can accept it or not

It wouldn't be a matter if I fell in love to someone younger than me as the age is only a number. The most important is true love and honesty. As long as we could get on well and stayed together, what else should I care? LOL

Age is all in the perspective. I married my husband the same year I graduated high school. I just turned 19 and he was 40 when we eloped. We have been together for 13 years now with 3 children.
