Peak Oil / Economic Slowdown: Share your solutions

We've all noticed prices at the pump, having been heading steadily upwards, with no sign of stopping. The reason for this is peak oil (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peak_oil). I thought this would be a cool place to share ideas, or technologies that could help with the energy crisis (new renewable energy technologies, alternative farming practices, sustainable business models). Of course education is the first step, so let's teach each other! To get things started I'll share some cool stuff I've come across. 1) www.globalwarminginteractive.com This website has a web application that can help you to understand how governmental policy effects the energy crisis, and it's fun. 2) http://www.zeri.org Zero Emissions Research Initiative. They help companies design business models with near zero waste! It's really fascinating stuff. 3)http://www.footprintnetwork.org Measure your impact, and be amazed. This is the most accurate site I have come across for this. Check it out, and let's discuss!

This is of course an old scam. It take more energy to make the gas than you save. Here's a good website that explains why this isn't legit. Anyone have anything real to offer? http://anti-rant.blogspot.com/2006/05/simple-truth-about-hho-and-water.html
